I came from a 2016 Civic VTi so the CTR blows it way. I knew the 10th Gen Civic was the car for me so it only made sense to purchase one with more power :)

My conclusion is that the only way to get a smooth shift is to change between 3-3.5k rpm.

Yep, I find if I shift into 2nd too quickly, it jerks/hops. Am I being too hard on myself in wanting to shift into 2nd perfectly every time without having to use synchros? By this I mean that notchy feeling when it doesn't smoothly pop into place.

Thanks all, it is my first performance FWD so it's something I have to get used to. Second gear I find it is very forgiving, you can almost reach crawling speed without stalling which I LOVE.

So guys, I don't know if this has anything to do with me being a pussy foot or not but what's the go with 1st gear? It goes absolutely nowhere. Is this normal? Am I not revving it hard enough? This car has got me confused.
