I live in central suburban NJ and average around 25.6 and 26 if I take Route 1 ( local highway with some traffic and traffic lights). Bought the car in August and have 500 miles on it so far. I'd like to share my driving habits and see if any of you guys would be nice enough to give me any...
Talk about crappy luck, but at least it should be an easy fix.
After looking into Glare and some other paint protection products, I've decided to get Opti-Coat Pro done on my car. Honestly, I don't trust myself with DIY car prep and applying any sort of sealant.
Looked up a reputable...
Feels slightly grainy. Let me know what's a good polish to help fix it.
But wouldn't polish remove the clearcoat? Should I use the Honda clearcoat that came with my touch-up paint to restore some of it?
Spray waxed my car last weekend, then found this mark while washing yesterday. Quik detailer couldn't get rid of it and it's smooth when I touch it, can't catch anything.
Line gets wider at the left side, could this have been the poorly applied wax baked into the paint? Doesn't look like...
I've never detailed a car in my life...is there room for error? Hope the kit is very self-explanatory and easy to use; I just don't want to mess up the paint.
Awesome! Let me know know which detailer you've picked and post some pics! Also let me know about the quality of their prep work, cause I need to have paint chip and scratches fixed before applying on the protection.
The detailer with the Glare products is "CAR RX LLC" if you're curious. Got...
Residents of NJ, anyone that can recommend a decent auto body/detailing shops that provide paint protection services for a reasonable price?
There's one nearby my town that uses "Glare 5 year protection" for $ 299.99 and another in southern NJ that uses CQuartz but charges $1,250. Some of you...
Ask to check the manufacture date on the EX-Ls they have on their lot. You probably know this but, the longer it has been sitting there, you can get them to reduce the price; it's considered old inventory if it has been there longer than 90 days. For some places, 2 months. Could be possible...
Not too sure, it might've been. I tried taking a picture, but it's too small to see. I did run my fingers over it, it's smooth to the touch but I could feel something when I used my fingernail with microfiber underneath to see if I could catch anything.
Aegean blue metallic Civic here. Noticed some tiny pin sized greyish spots on the hood while applying some spray wax. Could only notice the grey using a magnifying glass.
My quick detailer couldn't get rid of it. Are there any other products that you recommend that might help remove them...
