Slight rattle from passenger seat belt area, and squeaking from the trunk. Nothing too bad or out of the ordinary for a mass produced car. I rode in the backseat of a current gen Corolla as an uber, that had much worse rattles than my car. Felt somewhat appreciative after that ;)
I didn't speak on something I didnt know, I replied to your obnoxious and prejudice comment. Whether or not they're "undocumented immigrants" isn't pertinent to the main thesis of getting your wheels stolen. You're not filling out a police report on these forums, why provide a description of who...
Blaming the "undocumented immigrants" is so obnoxious and unnecessary, especially since you have no proof other than paranoia. A set of wheel locks is a few bucks...
Honda has been very confident in this Civic, no major changes thus far. Even though us buyers have some complaints, the sales figures say otherwise. We'll see what the 2019 refresh brings us
This gen is littered with panel gaps and misalignments, I have 3 on my 2016. I try to ignore them as much as possible, it's tough with my OCD though.
I guess to keep costs down with all the bells and whistles they added for this gen, something had to give. I guess they voted for less meticulous QC.
Why should insurance have to cover if there's a possibility there could be a defect with the car? Honda should at least perform an inspection to make sure it's not a manufacturer defect and if other cars could be at risk as well.
Definitely choose the EX-T over the EX, it's the best value of all the trims IMO. I regret getting the EX over the EX-T. $1000 difference isn't much in the big picture.
I think I would've gotten the blue or silver instead of red. The red doesn't look great at night, though during the day it's beautiful. The car actually looks the best in black, but I'm not meticulous enough to constantly clean/dust it.
I agree, people were disappointed in the 9th gen Civic. Called it bland, dated, lacking features the competitors were offering. So they loaded the 10th gen with features, gave it aggressive styling, a better quality interior, all without raising the MSRP by much. Something had to give somewhere...
My rear driverside door is off too, but it's only noticeable from the side view mirror. I recently noticed that my front bumper is abt 2mm off on the left side. I'm not going to bother having them fix it, I hate the thought of them taking apart my car.
The sedan has always been the volume seller, I dont think it will change. Though the HB may cannibalize the sedan sales a bit.
Speaking of sales, the 10th gen has been a huge success in the U.S., sales are up 13% vs 2015.
