I use Suntrust too and I do like them as a bank. If you are a FL guy, definitely check out SunCoast. They give better rates then Suntrust and will do 1.5% on the Civic.
I did that before. When we bought my wife's car Toyota offered me a 6%. I said I just bought a car last week at 2.25% through my bank (but done at dealership). They then offered 2.24%. I then realized that 2.25% i got the week prior should of been 1.75% if I went direct and could have even got...
FYI, yes it is. It is considered nonstandard. Necessary or not, it's quite common to use alternative choices throughout the English language. I am sure I could pick out 20 or so grammar errors from your postings, but this isn't a masters English class, it's a public forum.

What is your lifetime MPG at right now?
FYI, the 1.5T CAN do 70 MPG. Wayne Gerdes got 72.6 mpg in the 1.5T, and in the 2.0, got 52.4 mpg. Check out cleanmpg.com. If you are familiar with hypermiling, you know who he is. The difference between the 1.5T and the 2.0 when hypermiling isn't even...
I rarely use the power of the 1.5T, however I got it mainly for the mpg's. I never get under 50 mpg on any trip these days, sometimes 60's depending if I can keep my speed down. I doubt the same can be said for the 2.0. After 5500 miles, I'm at 45 mpg lifetime, including idling, remote starts...
The best is 35-45 mph I believe but most routes don't always make that feasible. That's how I got over 65 mpg on one trip. If I keep it under 60 mph I'm always 50+ mpg.
People still pass me, which I really don't understand the urgency to speed to a red light.. But people still do it, and they still end up behind me when the light turns green.
Short trips mixed with engine not being warmed up plus elevation must be the issue. I'm in flat Florida and my lifetime average across 5300 miles is currently 44.8 mpg in my EX-T. I never go over 2k rpm though.
Under 45 mph, very light acceleration, usually driving with load for hills (meaning I gradually slow down up hills to maintain throttle/gph flow), no jack rabbit starts, coasting up to red lights, rpm never over 2k. Usually cruise control mixed with ECO mode.
Most of my trips are 50-60 mpg...
I had better results with V-Power Nitro 93 as well! I don't know if there is less ethanol in there (I know they claim up to 10% in all the lines, but perhaps this doesn't actually use it, thus yielding better results/more energy). Either way, I agree it is measurably better as you said.
