I retighted the bolts with a phillips head since I didn't have a socket wrench that could access the bolt on the right. So far no more buzz coming from the glove box. I wish I would have found this thread a long time ago!
Awesome, I'll give it a shot this evening. Fingers crossed. It's been off and on but it took me over a year just to determine it was coming from the glove box.
Hi, I know this is an old post but are these the two bolts you're talking about?

Also, when you say "push on the glove box cover", do you mean the door of the glove box?
I manually switched to the new UI in the AA app. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't go back to the last app you were using like it used to. I'm basically always in Pocket Casts but it defaults to Google maps whenever it starts.
I'm a little late to the game but I was curious what changes the 2019 touring had over my 2016 touring. I couldn't find a definitive list on the forum so I chased down the info from several sources.
18" wheels vs 17
Metal pedals
Auto High Beams
Black front grill/slight changes to front...
I just depressed the pedal and put as much vassoline as I could on and around the internal piston rod thing. My squeak has been back for a couple of weeks though so it only lasted me maybe 2 and a half months. I'm going to try lithium grease from a spray can this time just because that's the...
For a while now, I would hear a squeak when I lifted my foot off the brake pedal after having it depressed. I finally decided to try to find/fix it a couple of days ago. After some indiscriminate spraying of WD40 on anything that moved when i depressed the brake pedal, I noticed that the...
It COULD be. I honestly can't remember how the rattle sounded exactly. What are you doing there to make the sound? I see the car isn't moving. The only way I could hear it when the car wasn't moving was to hit the back of the seat with my hand. It wouldn't just make the sound from the vibration...
I've had a rattle (sort of like a clicking sound) for the last year or so that took me a really long time to figure out the source of. I would hear it over bumps and particularly over bumps as I was going around a curve. I finally determined that it was coming from the passenger seat as I...
Not really. I found I reference to it here.

You may find some more info just googling around for the service bulletin number.
It seems to depend on if you have a '17 or '16 Civic and what service bulletins you've had done.
I was at 1.F186.69 until I had the software update done associated with service bulletin 17-048. Now I'm at 1.F190.25.
The dealership has to do the update, unfortunately. My understanding is they...
Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. I had this repair done about two weeks ago. I've heard it maybe twice since then but it was extremely faint, almost imperceptible. In my case, it didn't rise anywhere near the level of me being frustrated with it and I'm pretty picky.
FYI, I just took my car in and said I was getting bluetooth skipping. I remember getting it a long time ago when I first got the car but I really only use Android Auto now. I really just wanted the update. I asked about them applying 16-022. I was at version 1.F186.69. In the notes, it says that...
Nice, I didn't realize you could do this. I just updated mine yesterday with the links provided in this thread. I never use the built-in navigation since I always use Android Auto but it makes me feel good to know everything is up to date.
