After you’ve drained your CVT fluid and put more fluid in. When you go to check the level by removing the check bolt, is there a specific temperature the transmission should be at? It seems that most people run their cars through the “gears”, but don’t use a scan tool to verify the temperature.
The service manual says that there is a “sealing washer”. I’m thinking it may be a 10mm washer. If it isn’t the right size, I’ll just reuse the existing washer. I’m surprised I can’t find anything about this washer other than in the service manual where it doesn’t give the size.
I can’t find the fill bolt crush washer size on the 1.5L CVT. Does anybody know what size it is or the part number? I see in the service manual it recommends changing the washer and I don’t like to reuse crush washers.
