It’s been a minute. I hyper dipped my wheels shadow black. They turned out great. Gives it a more aggressive look, but I did like the polished silver look the wheels originally came in.
Here is a link to the buyer with the diffuser. FYI, there is a screw on each side of the existing diffuser located on the upper left and right inside that are hard to reach. You will need a light, long phillips screwdriver, and elbow grease to get them out. You will have to do the same to...
I added a spoiler, diffuser, aftermarket taillights, and shiny exhaust tips to spice up the rear. Minus the taillights the rear mods total was a little more than $300.
The tail lamps have been great. These are the Vland ones. I think they are the first generation. Photos don't show how bright these lights really are, but they light up good. I read the comments on those issues. The lights going out could be from poor connectors, but can be easily fixed by...
Looks good. I hear ya. I changed mine not to long ago and took longer than expected. I was happy to get it done. I had to cut the center brace on the bumper grill area to have the grill fit even though the grill was for a 2016 sedan ?‍♂️.
Finally got the rear diffuser on. The twist is I ended up buying it again, but this time in gloss black. Wrapping the original matte black diffuser with gloss black vinyl wasn’t worth the effort.
There are 2 screws deep under the bumper, one on each corner that are difficult to remove and...
No. You make sure the bottom of the spoiler is completely covered in the doubles sided tape. You can leave less than half an inch in the backside so the tape doesn’t show. Then you just prop the spoiler on. If you put tape over the holes and under the spoiler you’ll have a lump. Don’t do...
Hey hey,
No worries. I put outdoor 3M tape from Home Depot all on the under side of the spoiler. I lined the spoiler up where I wanted it near the end of the trunk lip and made sure the location covered the holes. The spoiler covers all the holes. Have enough tape to Cover the holes as well...
I purchased this grill a while back. It looks great and cleans up the lower grill area. Easy to install. Goes right over the existing grill with double sided tape.
I got side skirts from eBay as well, but slightly different. It’s an abs material. I have an EX-L sedan and the side skirts are hollow in the middle and held on with clips. You can drill right through them to mount with screws.
I used truss screws that self tap. I saw a home fixer up video...
Great work. The plug in the back the digital gauges, how many pins are back there? Could you take photo? I was wondering if the Si gauge cluster can plug into a non Si model. I want the red accents instead of the light blue. Thanks for posting.
Another update. I got the seats installed. Pro tip, Si driver side heater module does not plug into the EX-L ones and I’m sure it has to do with the EX-L seat being powered.
I unplugged and plugged the airbag sensor multiple times. I disconnected and reconnected the battery multiple times. I...
