You don't need a spare tire. Mine never had one, only a fix-a-flat tire kit
I do also have a touring with the crap premium sound system. I highly recommend to change the front speakers + insulate atleast the front doors + adding a extra subwoofer and feed the it by using the factory wire from...
As far as i know the crossover for the tweeters in the base audio system is installed in the mid/low woofer. By changing the speakers, you would remove the crossover.
Thank you for the info, that sounds great. This piece will probably doing an install a lot easier, especially for retrofitting a subwoofer in a non-subwoofer edition.
Yes, my installer hooked the Helix AAC.3 directly into the 2 wires which goes to the subwoofer.
I can take a picture on Friday and will upload it here how it's wired.
The Helix AAC.3 is the LOC, or more like a High-Low-Converter.
It does mean, that if you install a new, external driven...
The premium sound system is really trash, something to scare someone away. Okay, the hardware is fine just the tuning is absolut bs.
I used the subwoofer channel (my installer used this High-Low-Converter https://www.audiotec-fischer.de/en/helix/accessories/aac.3#technicaldata), it gives you...
Looks great. Please use sound deadening. It's a whole different feeling and you don't need to crank up the volume so much. I listened with OEM speakers at volume level 20, after the sound deadening treatment, it's only at level 12, sometimes even 10.
Also activate the function which raises the...
Got a strange behaviour too with Android Auto.
It won't start automatically, i have to reboot my phone a about 95% of the time to use it. This occured only after the latest AA update. But sometimes it will work without a reboot.
And another thing: if i'm listening to radio and taping on the...
You want these ;)

A german car magazine testet the breaking of the 10th gen civic and it does 60 mph - 0 mph/100 km/h to 0 km/h in 33,8 meters.
Very close to Ferrari F430 (33,5m), Audi R8 V8 (33,3m) or McLaren S650 (33,2m).
All with standard pads and discs.
Interesting. I have OEM parking sensors, as they come standard from the factory and for the front display animation is different:
The EU version has only some orange bars to indicate if you are near. I will try to upload a real picture later.
It's simple:
The OEM Amp is putting out 2 ohms with RMS of 50 watts and max. of 70 watts.
So get a subwoofer with low RMS watts and a suitable case. And wire it directly to the sub.
The only problem would be that the bass performance will be still low.
So how do you get a satisfying level of...
This upgrade only benefits to the lower frequency range. The upper one is still crap and no quality sound in the front due to lack of sound deadening and cheap speakers.
First of all, you opened this thread in the wrong section. This has nothing to do with issues.
You can look here for a lot more info:

A huge benefit to your in cabin sound is to install sound deadening inside of the doors (there are...
If you change the settings in the Honda head unit e.g. sub level, will there be a hearable change too or is equalizing the LCQ everything?
From my perspective, there are 3 solutions to fix the crappy - from drunken and hangover honda audio engineers made up equalizer values - audio
1. Honda...
As far as i know and there is somewhere a list of function and used speakers (e.g. nav sounds using the center speaker), hands-free telephone is using the front speakers. The delay given out of the head-unit is the key to prevent echoing. Probably your setup isn't changing the delay much, that's...
