I also installed an oil temp sensor on the oil drain plug using an adapter you can get. I provide some details of my oil temp gauge set up under posts 38, 40, and 45. https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/jeffs-build-for-occasional-light-track-use.51054/page-3 The oil pressure gauge has eluded...
  2. Wisconsin NSX wheels!

Bought Honda previous gen HR-V center caps for an upgraded metallic grey rim it use to have. Matched very well.
  3. Wisconsin NSX wheels!

I agree. Got a set for a red VTR and the computer is a dark grey metallic and I like the color on the car better than the stock black wheels tbh. .
  4. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

Agree with you in the merits if ppf. Understand what you are talking about in the job front. Yes, the salary level for those last few years can make a difference. As you get older you come to realize how valuable time is though. Your car is looking great 👍 🚗.
  5. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

Tom, sorry to hear that you are so busy brother. Hope you get that promotion and hopefully a bit of time off this spring/summer to get back out in that awesome ride of yours. I use Nico battery tenders on my cars when I store them for the winter. They are good.
  6. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

I had a 94 Honda Accord which I bought new (metallic teal). Great car. That's what convinced me to stick with Honda. Traded it for the 04 Red TSX which I still have. Been driving Hondas or Acuras ever since :)

Dave, Im glad to hear it worked out for you. The front roll may be while they are still cold and under inflated? Also, not sure if you are running front any front camber kits. I have the Hardrace lower camber plates installed and set to the middle guide. With the top pins pulled I got -2.7...

  12. Jeff's build - for occasional light track use

Finally got to the Tremblant track last Monday. Have been wanting to get there for some time. A former Air Force colleague of mine, who instructs there, was helping to organize a track day on behalf of a company he is part of - VAG Motorsport (https://www.vagmotorsport.ca/). The track itself is...
  13. California FS: Motegi MR924 - Set of 4

I looked hard at these and would have a set if I already didn’t have a set of NSX, and track rims. Don’t think the other half would entertain another set of rims in the house ..
  14. Mid-Ohio On Thursday 9/14

I usually start out at 26 or 25 psi square and then bleed down while hot after each run if required. Theme fronts tend to heat up more than the rears so these starting pressures should get you up to or past 32 front and 30 rear when hot.
  15. What did you do to your Type R today?

Tha is a work of art. So tempted .....
  16. Mid-Ohio On Thursday 9/14

Dave, I have not been to Mid Ohio but I can offer up that I am running 275/35/18 on several tracks here in Canada and I have found 32 PSI front and 30 PSI rear (HOT) to be the sweet spot for the pies I am running (Goodyear 3R's).
  17. California FS: Motegi MR924 - Set of 4

Can't believe these are not gone yet. Great color, caps, and very close to factory offset.
  18. New York SOLD - Motegi Traklite3 Wheels + Tires

These are great wheels btw. I have a set of black +45 offset wheels I use for the track and I love them. Very light weight and extremely durable.
