Installed some Lasfit LED low and high beams today. Stock halogen low beam finally gave out at 98k miles lol. Straight forward install, other than the clearance required to fit the harness on the HB3 LED when it is in the headlight... more on that in a bit
Stock halogen low beam color and...
ā¤ I am getting dws06+ next, Iāve got contiprocontactās on right now which are way better than the stockies but Iām ready for some more summer grip!
what maf housing does the MAP intake use? afaik, they aren't supported by anyone for off the shelf tunes.. would have to go with custom tuning/e-tune from D-Rob or phearable. or, ditch the map intake and grab 27won/prl, get an off the shelf tune and call it a day. tsp stage 1 + and phearable...
right like thats the direction i was headed towards lmfao.
just Prl cobra w/ race maf and TSP 1 right now, but had planned on phearable 1.5R +27won intercooler and downpipe soon...
Already spins 20-40mph but thats just on a continental contiprocontact, 83k miles now o_O
for headlights it might just be faster (and cheaper even?) to get a set of aftermarket ones. Bumper will be cheaper to go aftermarket like the type r styled one from Ikon which includes new grille, bumper cover, lip, and all the inserts. will need to be fitted, then removed and painted. Hood...
Front bumper cam would be sick for the lowered + Lip folks, that's got to be my biggest fear for when i eventually lower mine. Pulling it straight onto a parking block lmfao
I got rear ended last year in my 16 ex-t. It was $8500 to replace bumper, decklid, lower valence, fix the slightest bend in the quarter, and a few other miscellaneous bits you can imagine being hit in the passenger rear corner. I wish they totaled it.
I would take the cash you have and part the...
you could run a center exit exhaust with the use of an aftermarket diffuser that replace that stock one with no cutouts. The invidia with something like this piece would be nice
Had an si coupe pop up at work, not my favorite color and its not a 2020+ but a pretty fair price.
if this were a year ago I'd have bought it, but I think I'll just have to hold off till I find a white sedan.
But to continue modifying my car? I wont feel content with it until I lower it (and...
I would get the 27won intake with race maf. On the tune selection thing they have a little dropdown like gtman said, you select which maf you will be using when you upload the tune. When you pick your included tune, it will ask you for ecu part number. they have a link to show you where it is on...
Yeah you need to have a tune for any race maf, all the off the shelf tunes offer a variation for prl/27won race maf intakes. You don't need a tune for street maf intakes, but you will gain more from one in all instances.
Phearbles 1.5R you can use any maf housing with but you have to specify...
The street maf wont limit your power until you get a bigger turbo, but with the race maf you have the potential and it is more desirable for resale. when you are buying new there isn't a reason to not do it. Especially if you haven't already gotten a tune and need to convert to a different maf...
just as 86' said there, the NVH from an upgraded motor mount can be rough. most of the people buying this tune were running aftermarket rear motor mounts so they went ahead and included the idle rpm raise for every tune. Doesn't effect anything truly
my real issue is getting that grille to fit on a bumper properly lol. the top clips just absolutely suck and there are many issues people have had getting this to fit correctly
