I think the ktuner will probably be my cheapest option. Or just take off the intake and put an OEM back on in the winters.

Hahaha damn alright well definitely something I will consider now if it’ll possibly fix the rev issue. I’ve always been weary of the reliability of the 1.5 while tuned but I don’t really beat on it that hard or do track days or anything like that. Might be the move but it’s also at 74k miles so...

Nah I’ve had the intake on for over 2 years. I run 93oct 99% of the time if that makes a difference. Tbh I don’t know that much about engines/fuel but could it be running too lean/rich or something?Maybe way too much air?

Both when it’s warm and cold. Doesn’t seem to matter how long I’ve been driving. I can drive for 30 mins to the next town over and once I start going through stop signs and lights, every other time I clutch in it’ll happen.
