That looks a lot like the neutral position sensor connector on the back of the transmission. It's behind the shift selector kind of under the shifter cable bracket.
It was awesome to finally meet you in person! I was chatting with Jonathan Wheeler at CMP this past weekend and he had so much good stuff to say about you! I wish I was available to come down for GTA at RA, but maybe next year will have better timing for me :)
There is basically no difference while cruising on the highway as far as NVH goes, all of the NVH increases you'll experience will be at idle and very low speeds like mentioned above.
Out street mount does not have all that much increase in NVH. There is a little bit more (there will always be more with a stiffer mount) but it's very tolerable for most people.
Our plug n play in tank pump works great and we've gotten lots of solid feedback from customers on it!

DBA 5000 rotors are very high quality. I've used them on my own cars and have plenty of friends and customers who use them too with no issues. If you aren't going to track your car it's my top choice for a 2 piece rotor.
I'm glad to hear you're having a positive experience with the Synchrotech synchros! It did cross my mind to get them but ultimately I decided against it because the factory synchros are carbon lined already so I didn't expect there to be much improvement over stock. I'll probably give them a...
Yea it was such an awesome weekend! Matt and I were thrilled with how many people we were able to have good conversations with and how receptive the community has been. Also happy you guys were able to get the CRX up and running!
We're already looking forward to next year!
Unfortunately there is some unseen damage. 4th had a few chips in it as well as the final drive ring gear. The input shaft splines were pretty torn up from previously having an unsprung clutch as well so that trans is sitting around now as a parts donor.
The ones in the core trans I bought...
1. Did the work myself.
2. A bit over $1000 for RV6 gears and getting them detailed and shot peened, $950 for a Wavetrac LSD, another $100 or so for other odds and ends. I've bought a few core transmissions to build for $500-900.
3. Not in the car yet so can't comment.
4. N/A
5. RV6 3rd and...
Thanks! We're working on getting our first production batch right now. Will likely be up on the site next month, we'll have an announcement put out when they go live!
I can't give a solid answer to difference vs their 70A but our street mounts are a fair bit more friendly mannered with less NVH...
Ahh, yea unfortunately there isn't really a way to vary the stiffness without changing out the bushings, but anyone who wants to change out the bushings for a different stiffness is able to buy just bushings from us. It's a pretty easy job to change out the bushings too :)
So the bearing was replaced with an OEM one at a dealer? It's for sure odd that you would have two of them fail and at relatively low mileages. Although it is rare, it's not impossible though.
The factory limited slip diff is a Torsen style diff so it shouldn't make much of any clunking. I...
I have the redstuff on my car as well and have noticed similar noises lately (have about 10k on the kit now). It certainly wasn't doing it last year but it's enough that I've contacted some of the folks over at EBC to see what their thoughts are and if there is an easy resolution for it.
It all comes down to how much the car is abused. I shredded 3rd gear on stock turbo with a flex fuel tune with ~300wtq, but I was also driving on track where it has to sustain that load for up to 20 minutes at a time. If you're just street driving you'll likely be fine for a while. Ultimately...
Have you replaced either of the axles? I often see CV joints suffering damage or wearing out before half shaft bearings.
As for motor mounts I commonly see worn out passenger side mounts. The stock mount is gel/grease filled and as the mount ages from use the gel thins out and does very little...
