Hi i have a 2016 civic touring canadian model with cvt transmission that was the only option as for powertrain when i baught the car early 2016, my car has currently 126 000km since the beginning ( 500km) i noticed the rpm surge with the cvt transmission , i went to the dealer to have it fixed...
Well i got it fixed... its the plastic trimming of the braking light that vibrate onto the window. I just put a small piece of rubber between the 2 and and i can enjoy nice music again ! , hope this helps
if he was driving on hazards light probably he had an issue with something or i dont know . mine is at 6000 km no problem and i drive the shit out of her.
i test drive a focus st 2016 before buying my touring, dealer told me in test drive that the turbo icon in the focus dash that read -10 +20lbs ( turbo boost) was the G-force when taking curves and accelerating , i was lmao inside of me .... i got the hell out of there.
can you tell me or do you know what they did to fix the sub rattle ? i heard its just the top plastic trimming of the rear braking light that vibrate to the rear window ?
1=1.5T
2=YES
3=NO
4= my dealer will be upgrading the tcp next monday , they didnt have any clue about it in canada... they had to call honda usa for the service bulletin.
just for the full LED headlights i went for touring , not too much of a fan of the audio system tho , quality is good but when i turn up the sound , subwoofer rattle is annoys me
i have an appointment with my dealer in quebec canada to fix the surging issue , theres a service bulletin for this , but i dont know if its your problem. my car was surging +- 300,400 rpm when cruising on highway. Need a software update for the cvt.
