I responded earlier but wanted to say that after driving the car 5,000 miles that I can empathize more with your wife. The flow of the hood and the general lowness of the car have been hard to adjust to, especially coming off of driving a small SUV. Even though my seat height and driving...
I talked to several dealers, mostly by email and text, when looking for any color Civic EX T without a black interior or add-ons. Some had non-refundable deposits, some were refundable with certain conditions, and they varied in price. Most wanted $500, one dealer wanted $2000 (told them to...
The weird thing for me about sitting at the highest seat height was that the left arm rest was way below my arm. I could see great, but the arm rest was level with my leg. So, I lowered the seat a pump or two and straightened the seat back, which I think is the key. It's not perfect but better.
I may be about an inch taller than your wife and have the same problem with almost every car I've driven, with the exception of my various Civics and my Subaru. Can't recommend any comfortable pads but was wondering if she played around with different seat and steering wheel settings. In my 2016...

Happy to be back in a Honda, and a white one at that!

1987 Honda Civic hatchback (white)
1990ish Acura Legend sedan (white, my ex-husband's car but still counts)
1996 Honda Civic EX sedan (white)
2006 Subaru Forester (retired to dog limo and snow duty)
2016 Honda...
I wasn't financing or trading in, so I'm not sure how either of those actions would factor in. Best of luck if you decide to go for it! Please report in if you do.
His e-mail said OTD. I'd actually looked at the car a few days earlier, so I know it actually exists. With Tennessee's high sales tax and documentation fee, if it's a real deal, it's a great deal.
Jason at Auto Nation in Knoxville, TN made me an offer last night for $20,700 OTD for a Honda EX T sedan, Metallic Steel with gray interior. I don't know any details, but I'm passing this along to anyone in East Tennessee/North Carolina/Southern Kentucky/Northern Georgia who might be looking...
