The main issue is the front wheels. 9.5 is very wide, which I didn't know because this was my first set of wheels I've ever bought. There's not enough natural camber in the front to tuck the 9.5 wide wheel in. If you were lower, it would easily work.
Not sure how it is for the hatch, but I rubbed in the front badly with 18x9.5 +38 on 255/35/18. Unfortunately had to sell the wheels and go back to stock. The rubbing was so bad it popped out my side markers. Keep in mind I do have the coupe, so it might be different for you. I'd like others to...
It varies on the dealership you're trying to get warranty work from. Honestly if you're worried about your warranty I wouldn't touch anything until its up. I've heard some horror stories about getting warranty work done with aftermarket parts on.
Yeah im not into the frame scraping slammed look. Those springs are perfect. Im highly considering getting some rpf1s myself now. I think the gold ones would look good with my blue. If you don't mind, could I get some more pictures with different angles of your car?
Im going to be installing eibach pro-kit springs on my si coupe. Im pretty lost on what to go for wheel spec wise. 18x9.5 +38 seems to be very common. If I run this setup, will it be fine on stock 235/40/18 tires? Also will I have room to get bigger tires in the future, and if so what size?
Thank you for the response, ill check that link you sent. I honestly want to go with a smaller tire. Its just the wheel and tire come together like that. I found an offer on facebook market place that was really good. Unfortunately ill have to decline since you said ill rub.
Hello, im going to be installing eibach pro-kit springs on my si coupe. The wheel setup I want to go with is 18x9 +35 with a 245/45/18 tire setup. Can anyone confirm if I will have any rubbing issues? Thanks.
How bad was the scraping? Was it almost undrivable? Thinking of lowering with eibach sportlines, which is close to d2 low. Eventually I am planning to do away with the maperformance exhaust.
I would stay away from the maperformance street exhaust. The fitment is terrible and if you plan on lowering your car, you will scrape like crazy on the muffler. Im also having issues with the midpipe rattling against the heatshield. Also nice to see a local on here, im from daly city.
