Ha! Didn't think anyone really was following. Well, the repair went great! Took me only about 20 min with the appropriate tools. Definitely NOT a $1500 job. Repaired it with a $2.99 replacement stud. Honestly, it was so easy I am thinking about upgrading to ARP extended studs. The new nuts...

Okay, here we go. Will have to try to replace the stud using the method noted above. Had to drill out the frozen lug when the extractor tool just rounded the damn thing off. REALLY learning my lesson on cheap lug nuts here...

Thanks! That is exactly what I was asking. First, getting the nut off, then replacing the stud without replacing the hub. With your info and what I can pull from the below, I feel confident I will get it fixed MUCH cheaper than quoted. Just have a lot of hope riding on the lug extractor set...

Yep, that is basically what the dealership said too. But they want $1,500 to replace the hub/bearing assembly. Not just replace the stud.

Well this happened today and I cannot seem to find anyone locally who knows how to repair it. I have tried 3 shops, 1 of them a Honda dealership and still nothing. Except the dealer who wants $1500 for a new hub assembly and bearing. I have bought some lug breaker tools that will be here...

I still love my elders! I've had them for about a year and they've been great. I just used the cheap aftermarket lugs they offered at checkout and those are still working well too. I paid full price for mine and still have no complaints.

It may just be me, but I changed my rear pads with just removing the parking actuator. There are 2 bolts holding the black plastic actuator on each side. You can remove it and spin it by hand. Much like the video below. I know some people may not be comfortable with doing it this way...
