  1. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

All good, you seem to be putting more effort into being upset than figuring it out hahaha. Considering it been 3 YEARS since it was originally ask I'm not hoping for anything from Ktuner, I guess Hondata is miles ahead. End of the day, "looking into it" with no timeline is the same as doing...
  2. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

Recommend him, good dude. Also a little more info regarding yellowbox for those using it. "We recommend that the Yellow Box is not installed anywhere near superheated areas of the engine or exhaust, nor anywhere near the battery charging system or ignition. Otherwise the Yellow Box has been...
  3. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

It was more than a week between emails saying "something you can look into" it. Seems like you looked into it and that was your final answer that "there's not". Two words can be left to interpretation. Has it ever been looked into already just in case your going in circles, I see it been asked...
  4. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

I should get more assist as with less pulses per gear rotation as it should think the car is going slower. As long as it's not erratic, I'm ok just going from A to B.. Boost also needs VSS from what @Chris_19Si has dealt with. It will just be temporary till I decide. I'm totally with you on...
  5. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

*edit* seem to be a miscommunication and "there's not" is in regard to timeline not solution*edit* Final answer from KTUNER "There's not" I'm going to run with the VSS reading wrong for a bit and decide if I'm jumping to a used @Hondata or go with the YB. Just seems more polished, but the...
  6. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

The honda sensor isn't anything special, I would expect the Capts and RV6 to have more iron content in composition which should make it more ferrous, but I'm not a metallurgist. I'm hoping @KTuner can give us a final answer on this. Would to to have to bandaid with the YB, so I'm hopeful...
  7. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

Hey Chris been a while since we talked, still haven't looked at the youtube video. Sorry your still having issues. I myself may end up with a YellowBox. I'm also thinking about Hondata at this point, since it can do the VSS mod through software and has better software ability to remove traction...

  10. Port injection- what injectors to use!?

You won't need massive injectors. Spent a min on ID Calculator, go on and play around it's pretty simple
  11. Port injection- what injectors to use!?

I would go with the new gen X series ID, 1300X or 1700X. What power/fuel are you targeting ? Check out the calculator on ID's site, around 80% is a good duty to stay around. Any tuner that is worried about big injectors, get a new tuner. My ITR was on old school Precision 1000cc injectors...
  12. What single mod transformed your Si?

Ktuner should be #1 with Phearable tune Intake gives the car character with awesome turbo sounds, recommend PRL short ram (Street MAF) Hybrid racing shifter is a nice option Don't mess with motor mounts, you don't need it and will make your car uncomfortable.
  13. KTuner : VSS Adjustment for RV6 Gears

@KTuner It's be asked for a while, wondering what the latest with the VSS adjustment feature. Myself and other will need to waste time and money on a patch for VSS running the new @RV6 Gears Doesn't have to be an infinite setting. Hell a simple check box saying your using RV6. Also one for the...
  14. Thuseefc - Mugen Si

Just enough power for a fun daily. The RV6 has a pilot bushing which is a nice to have, less radial load on the trans input shaft bearing.
  15. Thuseefc - Mugen Si

Yeah definitely, will be less than 350whp as a daily beater. The OEM+ with the fk8 clutch makes it an easy choice.
  16. Thuseefc - Mugen Si

Ah, that's some pretty good mileage, throwing in my RV6 with OEM FK8 clutch this week. Less than 30,000km on mine, clutch fine but have time to work on it.
  17. Thuseefc - Mugen Si

I've only heard of this happening with very light flywheels, what are you using ?
  18. Thuseefc - Mugen Si

Super strange. Has Drob seen this issue before ?
  19. Thuseefc - Mugen Si

Interesting, glad it's more or less solved now. Wonder if it was from random rich/lean condition with the leak (o-ring) being after the MAF, hmmmm.
