Yep. The only Honda dealership in our beloved state capital. No surprise they have a 10k markup. Can only assume it was sold if they were filling it up as part of pdi.
Even for enthusiasts on forums such as this, power isn’t everything. For those other “regular” people it’s just the latest version of the car they have complete with all the improvements that the salesman will no doubt rave about. And bottom line is it is still quicker than the 9th gen.
Si's make up far less than 10% of all Civic sales. In generations past they've typically sold around 15k a year at most...so maybe 3-4%. Most people don't want/can't do stick which immediately makes it an outlier to the majority of buyers. That and it was always the expensive trim and looked too...
The as-usual mediocre stock tires are all the more reason to drive them into the ground (and have fun doing so) then getting some great tires of which there are plenty of options. It's a win-win.
Is the insurance company really gonna know you changed the emblem? I wouldn't credit them with that much intelligence but you never know I guess. I wouldn't even mention it.
Last week I checked on TireRack and there are no 20" all-seasons available. Yet. I'd probably downgrade to 19's. Plenty of those available but obviously that is yet another cost of owning a new vehicle! It's definitely something I will be keeping in my mind if the opportunity arises for me to...
Good luck finding a "base" model when, even though the option is technically there, they're impossible to find. They ALL come with the DCC/Nav package. All is not lost, however, with deals like this...
If you were a dealer, wouldn't you rather just sell it to the first person with a valid deposit than do the whole charity deal. Now they probably just wanna get rid of it and forget it. Hopefully I'll get an email from the local dealer asking me if I want it at msrp. As opposed to the +6k adm...
