  2. Post your aftermarket wheel/tire set up

I decided recently to test fit my new wheels while I wait for winter weather to go away. Konig Ampliforms 18x8.5 +35 on 235/40 Continental Extreme Contact Sports lowered on eibach sportlines.
  3. 18x8.5 NT03/RPF1 vs 9.5

I purchased the 9.5 NTO3 SBC after seeing several people have no issues running the 9.5 even with a bigger tire.
  4. OHIO E-Check

As long as you don't have a check engine light on you'll be fine. I've always used the self service stations and previously passed my old 8th gen si with no cat with no issues.

  6. Is Coilovers/Springs right for me? - Post your thoughts.

I lowered my 21 sport hatch on Eibach Sportlines and so far they have been great. I usually always install coilovers on my cars but just wanted to fix the wheel gap in the meantime (BC is nearly two months out and winter is on the way). You wont need any type of bypass module with the sport...

not my car but it's one of the lower ones I have seen. I know its running godspeed coils with the bottom locking collar removed.

  9. A little personal help….

Personally I would avoid financing any used car in today's market. I would look for a clean low mileage 8th gen civic that you could probably get for a decent price. Are you looking to purchase a new car but aren't finding any inventory?

  13. Invidia Q300 too quiet?

Sounds like an awfully large amount of money being put into exhausts just to have "crackles". As far as the Q300 goes, it's been known to be a very quiet exhaust option. I personally have a Borla S-Type and love it so I would recommend that or either of the Greddy options.
  14. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

After reading what phearable has done to protect the cvt while making it well worth the price of admission I pulled the trigger. You’ll find quite a few tuned cvt owners here with a lot of good information. It seems to be as long as you aren’t beating the crap out of your car, keep up with the...
  15. Wheels offset

Yes, going to a lower offset pushes the wheel out further from the vehicle.
  16. Replacing Torn CV Boot on Axle Shaft!

Not a problem! I was just curious with everything going on here. I'm a writer myself but not for Honda, so I would say I know how to talk to those working in the service department.
  17. Replacing Torn CV Boot on Axle Shaft!

Are they covering yours under warranty even with lowering springs installed?
  18. Dealership service fraud-Need advice

This. There’s nothing worse than a customer who comes in acting like they know everything. As a service writer myself, I can confirm that the service department will go the extra mile for laid back customers. It’s not uncommon for customers who are a pita to be noted to schedule several weeks out.
