I need to connect it to my car to be sure. I tried it on the computer without connecting to my car with the last update and it seems I can play around with vtec.
Got a question guys. The new version of ktuner software seems to let us 2.0l engine have full control of the vtec engage/disengagement. Now the question is @ what rpm is most optimal to set vtec to engage?
I have the 2.0l engine with mt, and I can tell you it makes the 2.0l a lot more fun. I also set my throttle response to 2. Best upgrade for me that cost $650 cad.
I am positive it's for all engines but it seems certain ecu configuration doesn't have that disable option for some reason. Hence I am asking ktuner to see if mine can be fix so I can disable it.
@KTuner when loading tune 1 for my 2.0l engine I do not see the disable Rev hang option, are you guys able to work on that or it's not possible to add the option for my ecu( 5BB-C04)
@KTuner thanks for the quick reply, hope you guys can come up with something soon.
Anyone know if tunerview can track and notify you when vtrc kicks in?
Also just got ktuner and the car feels much faster now on the highway.
@KTuner are you guys working to improve the tune even more, like say making disable Rev hang possible on all ecu and such? Mine which is 5BB-C04 doesn't seem to have that option. Thanks.
