Why compare to the Si to the RS?
I’m asking because my Fiesta ST peers take great umbrage at being compared with the Si, even through it’s the same price range, similar engine size, and weight. They vehemently argue that it can’t be compared because the cars are different classes.
My Fiesta ST (@425/380) can break 205/40-17 all-seasons loose at 80mph...if it’s wet or cold. It’s not going to happen under 300wtq.
Maybe you’re seeing the speedo spike to 80mph, but you are absolutely, unequivocally NOT doing “80mph...into 4th gear.” Logically, that would mean you’re...
I traveled over 1000 miles to get my AB Si Sedan. I got it through family, so it was a fun trip. Anyway, my car was 100% fresh off the trailer with 1 or 2 miles. The day I arrived in town, the car had just arrived. We did the paperwork, and I took it home. A couple days later, I drove it back...
I’m fairly certain as well, but my question wasn’t answered clearly enough. I have two other projects, so a clear answer just helps me prioritize. 30% off is still great, though.
I just want to take moment to congratulate MAP on creating an exhaust video where we could actually hear the differences.
On that fact alone, I’ve pretty much made my decision, whether or not I get in on the group buy.
About the pricing: we either get in on the group buy discount OR we can...
Ive had both on my FiST... Continentals have better snow and dry grip, while Michelin is great in wet grip, but not much better than the Conti.
I know what the stats say, but overall my car felt more confident on the Conti.
And there won’t be an option to purchase without? Why not? Won’t make enough money without adding some pipes to raise the price inordinately...err, I mean, to raise the perceived value of the “kit?”
Make a bare bones kit: intercooler and adapter for the stock pipes. Price it lower than the full...
Make the intercooler big, with vanes inside to distribute the airflow...and ABS to force the air through instead of letting it go willy-nilly. Also, if you could either skip the pipes or at least offer the intercooler without that would be cool.
