Got the PRL intake tube and filter for X-Mas. I kinda wish the PRL logo was on top of the hose instead of the side though. Also looks like I need to have a talk with the local Honda dealership. I got my oil changed about 4 weeks ago (Got 3 free ones when I got the car) and they said that the...
I wonder why you needed so much hardware compared to Precord. Is the 2017 lacking that much more than a 2020? Also looks like the software/hardware to do that isnt that cheap.
Gotcha, Looking at the trim pieces and the shifter paddles themselves, it would be a few bucks cheaper to just get everything new myself. Wouldn't have to wait for shipping from Sweden either. its crazy the difference in TCM prices between models. Like the one for any of the the Hatchbacks says...
Thats not a bad price for a kit like that. You said you have a custom tune. Would there be any issues if you have the stock Phearable tune? Ive got an 01 EX and would love the paddles. Even a new TCM from a 01 sport doesnt seem to be to bad in price.
Edit: Just looked up a sport touring...
Twice now I have hit something because the person in the lane over kicked it into my lane. Looks like this will come off and didnt cause any permanent damage. Still pissed though. Good thing I have the paint protection film.
I saw a video not long ago that did a dyno run on a (high flow) catted pipe, swapped it out then did a run on a catless. It made 0 difference in performance.
My girl friend just got her renewal notice. Full coverage for a 2015 Corolla, $880 if paid in full, $1000 if done in payments. Its gone up every time for the last 4 years. Dont get it. We actually checked and if she would get a brand new civic her insurance would go down by like $100. Its a...
The drive really makes a difference on if ECON helps or not. I have lots of up and down on my commute and having it not be so aggressive with the throttle makes a big difference. Setting cruise at 75-80 gets me about 32-35mpg, same trip under very similar conditions with ECON on gets me 38-41mpg.
The threads on that part of the bolt are probably stripped. If you can get a pry bar or flat head in there and put outward pressure on the bolt while trying to unscrew it might get it out.
I wonder if anyone has done any back to back comparisons to catless v catted. I know back in my MR2 days someone did and there was no noticeable power increase going catless. To me, actually trying to not destroy the environment is worth the maybe 1-2hp gains.
Welp, $860 later and the errors are gone. That was after an $1100 day at the vet yesterday.... $45 for the new bracket, $15 for a tire rotation and the rest was labor.
I was wondering if they were going to mention Nitrogen filled tires. Ive seen dealers want to charge $200 for that crap. If they want to include it it should be free. I know it was for my moms Subaru.
