I have some other ideas to see if I could do it without taking off the entire door panel, but if those dont work ill for sure try that. I didnt even know adhesive spray was a thing, ill have to check that out. Idk how well that spray will work on the fabric thats already there though.

What exactly do you mean by leaving them on all the time? Like leaving it in the setting under auto? When I have it in that setting an alarm goes off telling me to shut them off when the car is off and theyre on. Also wouldnt that drain the battery?

Alright so I just figured out that when you remote start and then hit the unlock button at night they come on. Sort of fixes the issue but still only want to hit the unlock button for them to turn on.

Ive never heard anyone wanting to go from center mount to an edge mount so my take is as good as yours. Youd prolly have to get on the ground and check out the undercarriage to see. Id think it would require some kind of additional modification since the ex would if you wanted center mount.

Im almost 100% that they are not the same, at least for the hatch. The spare tire compartment on the ex does not allow a center mount exhaust, not sure about the lx though.
