I'm on Espelir springs which is about the same drop as Spoon and Eibach Pro kit, so the natural camber it adds by lowering isn't much. From what I remember, the negative camber naturally increases as you lower the car more (even without adjusting it if you have adjustable suspension parts).
It's actually just vinyl. A lot of FK8s had issues with that and had it warrantied because it started peeling for no reason. I'm not sure what part number it is or if they even sell it separately.
Would love to see pics of this at some point, do you guys happen to know if modifying the fenders are required to run these? Or what needs to be done if so. Same for alignment specs. Thanks!
The fk8 struts are different from an fk7. So you would have to replace the struts and get those too (and also the rest of the front suspension). I would imagine it would take a lot of time and effort just to properly wire up, install and the ADS system and the entire front suspension. At that...
I might try to do it sometime soon, since somtimes it feels a bit bouncy on my eibach springs, especially on comfort mode. If I don't like it I might just switch back or just get a 2020+ ADS module instead.
How bad was the install? Did you have to remove the rear seats?
I'm curious if switching to the LE ADS module is beneficial for anyone with lowering springs since the stiffer aftermarket springs would match the stiffer damping better on the LE ADS module.
Sheesh the guy who installed your IC is on a different plane of stupidity. I get not reading instructions at first coz ICs on our car is pretty straightforward. The moment he started struggling with the fitment is the moment he should've looked at the instructions.
That dude should not be...
