Do you mean copying your music to a USB drive? Plenty of people seem to have done that in the thread about iPod stutter issues. No need for a special 'car hard drive', a USB drive from Amazon (or your preferred electronics retailer) that has good reviews should be fine.

I just picked up my EX-T in MSM a few hours ago, and I for one really like the color (I waited for them to find the color in MSM). Color is something so subjective, all that really matters is a person's individual preference.
