  1. Sequence Manufacturing Titanium Exhaust

Problems? I'm not sure what you are talking about. It is an AWESOME piece of engineering. I loved mine (sold the car booo).
  2. If You Were To Upgrade From Your Type R, What Would You Chose?

I would suggest the Cadillac CT4V Blackwing with the 6sp. It is shockingly great to drive (better/sharper than my 2024 CT5V Blackwing). You can order a brand new one with few options for low 60s.
  3. Science of Speed FK8-01 Wheel

Not to get too nerdy, but scrub radius is directly related to the offset no matter what the wheel width is. Part of the calculation is based on the center of the tire's tread so it doesn't matter if it's an 8" wheel, a 9.5" wheel, or whatever. I was running 19x10 ET55 wheels on my CTR...
  4. Science of Speed FK8-01 Wheel

Those wheels are awesome! The ET50 is a better option than a 45 because you should be able to fit 285/30/19s without too much rubbing (if any). Plus, 50 is closer to the ET60 of the OE wheels so there is less change in the scrub radius (i.e. in theory less torque steer than an ET45 or 38 etc).
  5. Bridgestone Potenza Sport 265/35/18 Closeout $158.82 Per Tire

I ran 285/30/19 Potenza Sports on my CTR and LOVED them. And I have used PS4S on 4 other cars so I have a good handle on the comparison. The Potenzas have very sharp steering and the grip level is at least the same or higher than the PS4S. They 'feel' like a much sportier tire than the PS4S...
  6. fk8.wiki dead?

No f-cking way! I was one of the guys beating the drum about him being a deadbeat POS business owner in other threads and lo and behold. Incredible. Just googling his name popped up details of his arrest(s). Good riddance.
  7. What did you do to your Type R today?

Picked it up the Blackwing yesterday. I ordered it in June, only options I picked were the light grey seats and rubber floormats. Have about 80 miles on it so far but wow it's every bit as good as you have heard about it. Even keeping it under 4500rpm it's an animal. It's obviously a bigger...
  8. What did you do to your Type R today?

I sure will. I was in a position to jump up to the Blackwing and I feel like it's the last of it's breed so I took the plunge. I hope it's as fun as the Type R!
  9. What did you do to your Type R today?

Seeing the reactions to my post . . . all I can say is "I hear ya!". I'm sad to see it go and, having owned from new a 2002 WRX, 2005, 2008, and 2010 Mitsubishi Evos, a 2017 Focus RS, and now a Type R, I love these types of extra spicy 4 cylinder turbo manual transmission cars. I'll get...
  10. What did you do to your Type R today?

Sold it to Carvana yesterday. Boooo. What a wonderful car. If anyone is looking for a nice 2021 black with only 10k miles, check it out. I left the Sequence titanium catback and PRL IC on it.
  11. FK8 to DE5

Enjoying the feedback here! I tested the DE5 the week they were available a few months ago and was blown away by it. Expected it to be soft and uninteresting but no, it's wonderful. My 5Blackwing order is still in limbo so I might end up with the DE5 after all. For you guys looking/buying...
  12. What would you trade your fk8 for sub 50k?

Would love to see videos of your car! It's a shame no one builds small (i.e. 3-4L) V8s that rev to the moon. Coming from many years in the sportbike world, where 1000cc inline fours can rev to 14k or more and last for a long time, a 3L V8 that revved to say 11-12k would be no big deal for...
  13. What would you trade your fk8 for sub 50k?

Y Your car must be incredible! That sounds like a lot of fun. Sorry for the thread hijack! Back to normal programming . . .
  14. What would you trade your fk8 for sub 50k?

Hey Meat Hammer (I feel dirty just typing that!) - the car just has a Sequence catback, PRL IC, DRob tune, some extra camber F&R, and some wide sticky tires on BC wheels. I thought about going a little further with mods but it just doesn't make sense for me to go too crazy with the engine when...
  15. What would you trade your fk8 for sub 50k?

While I love my Type R overall, especially it's incredible precision, the combination of FWD and a somewhat uninspiring inline 4 engine leave me a little cold. Especially compared to my old Evos, which had bonkers engines plus 4 wheel drifts on demand. My other current cars (GT350R, Evora 400...
  16. Test drove an Integra Type S today

Good question about the resale value. I've been kicking that round in my head, too. Putting only 2k miles/year on it certainly would keep the miles low and value high. For me, the CTR is my occasional daily driver (Trackhawk is my normal daily) and I take passengers pretty regularly for...
  17. Test drove an Integra Type S today

The Type S is so impressive, right? I was pleasantly surprised by how it balanced refinement with outright sports car aggressiveness. Neat car and I also feel like it's a better car for me at this point of my life.
  18. Need Exhaust Suggestions

I actually didn't use any gasket and still needed the longer bolts. I could barely get the nuts to make any contact with the OE studs because the flange on the Sequence was very thick/sturdy.
  19. Test drove an Integra Type S today

Mine is a 2021 that I bought new and only has 8k miles.
