  1. 1.5T Transmission Control module Swap

The TCM should just be a simple swap. I swapped TCMs to go from a EX CVT TCM w/o paddle shifters to Touring CVT with paddle shifters after wiring in paddle shifters on my car. Works fine with no issues on my car and didn't have to do any VIN writing, etc.

  3. FK7 Time Attack/Daily Driver and NEW Civic X Products

Just wanted to show my appreciation for Wunderladen Racing once again. I previously acquired the strut locks, rear brake bushings, and PowerFlex front lower arm bushings and thoroughly impressed. I went through a few oil catch cans and wanted a new setup and reached out to Austin about a catch...
  4. Who's The Oldest Modder Here?

Awesome thread, nice to know others my age and older are also still modding a 10th gen. 44 years old here and dropped way more money on the car than the wife realizes.
  5. Vargas Turbo journey and review/results

Just to be clear and making sure. You'd be using the smaller plug from that 9th Gen RDX PnP harness, not the RDX side.
  6. Vargas Turbo journey and review/results

As for the HPFP, my situation is different from you guys with the Si. The HPFP base is different between Si and Base 1.5t which makes the HPFP sit at a different angle slightly. I modified the hardline to account for the change in angle and played with different fuel feed fittings, but at the...
  7. Vargas Turbo journey and review/results

I can help you out with the pigtails and 2.0t HPFP. I made the pigtails for my setup and have an extra set. I'll PM you.
  8. Convert non paddle version to paddle shift?

You should be able to download it from the previous page from my post# 105.
  9. Is your tuned Civic set up for success?

Great insight @gtman I do wish I could have a 2nd 10th gen with just the Phearable 1.5R and suspension mods for a 2nd car.
  10. Vargas GC turbo initial review

My GC is setup with FBO @29 psi, Flex Fuel, Accord injectors, and Skunk2 Stage 1 cams. It's the best 10th gen 1.5 turbo out there in my opinion and you should be pleased once it's installed and tuned.
  11. Vargas GC turbo initial review

I've been running the GC Turbo on my CVT for almost a year and half. It replaced a W1 and has been an excellent upgrade.
  12. Sport Hatch Knuckles for Non-Sport Hatch

Yes, I'm running them on my car. The Q0462 running them for additional camber and got about an extra -1° of camber from them. They should have a Black Friday sale coming up and get items out of stock in about 3 weeks. https://www.hardrace-europe.com/front-lower-ball-joint-q0462.html
  13. Sport Hatch Knuckles for Non-Sport Hatch

You could always sell the Whiteline ball joints and get the Hardrace M12 ball joints instead. Seems like that would be the easiest route vs messing with the knuckle.
  14. Brake Info thread

I was wondering if you were the same @PSPEC from back in the day. I had your short shifter in my 96 Accord coupe along with shift knob, was a game changer for the Accord/Prelude vs. the cheap adapters. I liked the PSPEC shift knob so much I bought another for my previous 8th Gen Civic. Good to...
  15. 2021 civic ex 1.5t cvt exhaust questions

I had this at one point, installed it right before the Y split to the mufflers. Used an electronic cutout. It sounded terrible to be honest. It's loud and didn't notice any difference in power. Unfortunately, the CVT's behavior makes any exhaust noise sound terrible on these cars without the...
  16. Well it happened...head lift.

Sorry to hear. I'm going through the same thing. I had TSP ARP studs on my original head gasket on my car when it started leaking. Question, did you have the Cometic gasket and ARP studs with this failure? or are those going in with this fix and just waiting on the OE gasket kit to move forward?
  17. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

The CRV 1.5t FWD CVT casing is the same except a small difference on the mount side. Everything bolts up the same except the mount can only use 2 of the 3 bolts/studs. The CRV has a 5.64 fd vs 4.81 fd in the Civic, if anything it has 1500lb towing capacity so should be a little stronger...
  18. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

It seems like a coming weak point of these motors when pushing high boost and ethanol. I tried to get ahead of it with the TSP ARP Studs before I really started to push it with the one at a time method, but likely the shortcut method isn't the best way to install head studs. The new studs will...
  19. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Update to post # 5,345: Vehicle: 2020 Civic Hatchback EX (CVT) Total tuned time: 35 months Tuned miles driven: 16,363 (16,343 total miles) Tuning device(s) used: Hondata Flashpro Carb for 3-4 months, and KTuner V2 since. Tunes used: Hondata +6 Carb, TSP Stage 1; Phearable 1.5; Phearable...
  20. Post pictures of your Front Lip

I don't have a Sport/Si, but the install is the same and installs over the factory bumper without having to remove anything.
