Lol I had a 2020 si coupe in the same color as yours, but I just need that extra back seat space I'm my new one haha. I have a dogthat loves to stick his head out the window, and I'm planning on having kids. 🤣
Changes to my list:
- FullRace Catback exhaust
- Vors TR4 18x8.5 +35
- PRL intercooler
So, after watching about 50 different exhaust videos for the 10th Gen SI, I decided I'm going to go with the Full race catback. It's the same one I had on my 20' si coupe, and I just love the sound. While I...
I think the reason the AWE is more expensive is because it also includes a front pipe, but I do agree, the remark is really good bang for your buck. Only downside for me is I do think it sounds a little raspy from the clips I've heard online, I could be wrong though.
I have heard of thermal...
I don't plan on autocross, just weekend canyon carving.
Even with the touring edition? Can you recommend some other exhausts that won't drone as bad with an aftermarket dp? I also considered the greddy DDR, but I've heard there may also be some drone with a aftermarket downpipe with that one...
Order of buying parts, and changes:
- RV6 Type R retrofit clutch and flywheel upgrade
- Eibach Sport-plus lowering springs/sway bar kit
- SPC rear camber arms
- Anovia Kano Chrome wheels 18x9.5 +38
- 255/35 tires (can't decide yet on which ones)
- AWE Touring tri-tip exhaust
- PRL Cobra CAI
-...
Perfect thanks! I'll look into that. I was referring to the fully adjustable short shifter, yes.
I'll probably not get slotted rotors, because I don't think I'll need upgraded ones unless I track the car. I'll just go with some upgraded brake lines and pads if I have issues with the stock...
I will definitely be getting wheels and tires when I get my coilovers and camber arms! That'll be close to one of the first things.
Good to know about fluids and lines! Didn't think about that!
I'm kind of leaning away from the ark-d exhaust now because I have heard about some drone. I'm considering the Awe Touring exhaust because it's specifically marketed towards daily drivers. Plus the sound seems pretty good from what I've heard. I also plan on maybe getting a downpipe in the...
True, I think tires especially will be a big help. I'll mostly be dailying the car on the highway, so I just figured it wouldn't be as big of a difference until I plan on going for a "drive".
The only reason I put the clutch as number one, is that I've had an si before, and I didn't have any...
Yeah, and as much as I like the CTR the gas mileage of the si is just a little nicer for me. Plus if I want to mod the CTR, that just tacks onto the price.
Well, the only reason I put intercooler and intake together is because I'd probably buy those at the same time. Last time I just bought the intake and it was just for the "whoosh" sounds haha. But, If I "had" to get one or the other first, I'd probably get the intercooler.
My budget is not...
I've heard good things! Is there a specific reason? I just want to know why I should put it over certain things.
As of right now, my literal top 3 is probably:
Performance/suspension
- type r retrofit clutch
- rear sway bar
- front mounted intercooler/cold air intake (it can get hot where I...
Needing some advice on mods:
I used to have a 2020 si coupe, but I sold it a while back because it wasn't as practical with space, and now I'm missing it, but I want a sedan this time.
I had a prl cai, full race catback exhaust, and some aftermarket wheels, caruse spoiler, but nothing else...
