The same with my friends car, it didn’t always do it. The car would have to move just right for it to happen. If i were you i would just take a look under the passenger side, remove the top foot cover and take a look in there to the left, it’s a pretty quick thing to do and would rule that out...

Had a friend with the same issue with a different car, under braking or turning it sounded like water would slosh around, it got so bad that it sometimes leaked out into the passenger footwell, it was just a clogged ac drain line. We didn’t even need to remove the line, just moved it around...

Like i’ve already said several times, both my cars have them, i’ve never replaced them or had them replaced, the cars are from completely different dealers and different time periods and one was even bought used. The bulbs also have the same text on them as the bulbs your provided s/n shows in...

What would be the chances that one car bought new late 2016 at one dealer got swapped with the same bulbs as a different car that was bought new a year later at a dealer 2 hours away by its original owner back in late 2017. The cars came from the factory with these bulbs.

Like i said in previous posts, both my cars have them, one i bought used one new. Also the text on the bulbs is the same to the text on the photos that were sent in this thread. These bulbs are oem and came from the factory.

Yea strange. It’s pretty easy to tell just by shining a flashlight in the marker to see if the bulb is tinted or not. If anyone is able to do that and share their results, that would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe someone else can chime in, I just thought that my dealer was being dumb. Weird that they are clear though, they must be a lot brighter that way.

I know it won’t hurt but i was confused myself why honda kept messing up, maybe it was an early car thing?

I bought my 17 hatch new, my 17 si i bought used.

They are smoked on my 2 cars, check out the photos i posted in the thread above.

Here is the bulb from my car, if you look close you can see the same text on the bulb as the photo of the other stock bulb above. My 17 hatch has the same bulbs as well. Both bulbs look the same only one is out.

I will send photos when i take out the bulb. all 4 bulbs are tinted, only one is out because i rattled it around too much.

My 2017 civic si and my 2017 civic hatch bulbs are both smoked from factory.

The side marker bulbs are carried nowhere, even at honda i can order them and they give me the wrong bulbs since they are smoked from factory on my 2 cars, but honda gives me non smoked ones. I figured lots of people on here replace them so i wouldn’t mind paying for real oem bulbs.

I’m looking to buy oem brake light bulbs and oem side marker bulbs. Let me know what you have. Thanks!
