I did a fly and drive back two weeks ago. Got the car from Tennessee. Drive back to Seattle via Chicago. I had fun. Do use tracwrap before you hit the freeway on your drive back. It will take you a hour of DIy and will save you from all the rock chips.

Thank you! I'm mostly concerned any big cracks or such developing in the windshield for whatever reason. I agree with you my auto insurance would be more than willing to address it cause it is a pretty important safety equipment in the car. Thank you!
