Just wanted to note that the previous owner of my car put one of these on, it flew off after about 20,000 miles of me owning it (unsure of how long they had it on for). Didn't even notice it happened until I got out of my car and realized my front end looked off. Not bad for offbrand "3M" tape...
why not just keep it open regardless of community participation? that way in the future others can still add their vehicles and make informed decisions on whether they want to be tuned or not
Just had issues recently with mine at ~90k miles, and I'm pretty sure the previous owner had some work done to the AC previously. Its acting up again, lots of hissing, sometimes not running cold when driving, uneven temps on driver vs passenger side.
Any specific scenarios that cause the clunk to happen? Is it at a specific speed, acceleration/deceleration, one side of the car or the other, can you make it happen by loading the suspension yourself (like putting weight on the tailgate)?
Its likely not this, but check to make sure the...
Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but this guy swapped the type r K series into an Si. It has some issues atm but it does run.

This thread here details the CVT to manual swap...
Looked around online and it seems like the general consensus is that those are only really used on the track for short periods of time, rather than storing fuel for a longer time. Could also just be a warning to get out of any potential liability for accidents
If I remember correctly, the piece in front of your hood (the one with green arrows on it) is connected to the entire rest of the bumper.
The black piece across the top I believe is that same piece, so it can't be removed.
Have you tried putting decent pressure on that spot to pop the clip...
After learning that my car has been in a previous front accident (unreported) by finding out that my metal bumper is new and my AC radiator is bowed, this piece flew off my car at some point and revealed that there is some more cosmetic damage.
You can see some of the dents towards the left of...
Wheels FINALLY on. Had these sitting in my garage for almost 6 months, got tires really recently. Waited at my local Honda dealership (had a coupon) for 6 hours....but they're finally on. Currently missing hub rings, but on the drive home I had absolutely no wobble at all and the rings are...
I definitely would. I plan on getting a lot of other 27won parts, and since my skid plate is already mangled in the corner of my garage I'd love to get one. The only thing I really care about for functionality is having either a flap/door for easier access.
I'm not super familiar with the numbers for the Si tunes, but you can find all the info on Phearables website. For my car (cvt hatch), I went from around 174 to ~220 according to their dyno numbers. CAI at most would probably add 10-15, and that might be pushing it lol.
Also since mine is a...
For most modding purposes, OTS tunes are more than enough. They'll work with any sort of bolt on mod (unless they specifically say otherwise usually, like an intake with a race MAF, or meth injection). I personally would recommend Phearable since you can get a tune from them with a KTuner for no...
I'm now wondering if the surging is caused by VSA and my tires. I'm still on the stock wheels and some cheap economy tires that the dealership put on, and the tread is getting close (maybe 10k miles left). I also notice this happens more often on backroads rather than highways, so maybe what's...
@gtman Here's the datalog. It didn't happen as noticeably as it sometimes does unfortunately, but you can see the stair-like 'steps' in my RPM around 1:50 and 5:00. I'm sure it's not shifting since this is a new thing and plus my RPMs never got high enough to ever do the simulated shifts.
Other...
Jump fixed it, the battery was at like 2% when I checked it. New issue though is that my ktuner somehow isn't registered to my account anymore. I guess that's progress at least?
