Turbo is shot so hoping there is someone on here that has a stock turbo in good condition they want to get rid of. Would be open to upgraded turbo too if the price is right. Thanks.

So I started the car and let it idle and get up to temp. No smoke. When I blip the throttle. That's when the smoke starts. Pulled the charge pipe at the turbo and it's for sure coated with oil inside it. Not sure how normal that is but that's about as far as I've gotten into diagnosing so far.

I'm leaning towards turbo seal. Is there anything I can check/see that will give me any indications without removing to turbo?

Heres a datalog i was able to grab. Obviously didnt want to drive too far/much. Hopefully someone can read it and see something that'll be insightful.

Would a EWG fault cause the car smoke and high crankcase pressure?

PCV and hose both were replaced. So hopefully those will no longer be a factor. Now just need to figure out the smoke/boost issue. -10/-9 vacuum constantly while idling according to ktuner. I'll see if I can get a datalog to look at and post it up. Standby

Update. So got the car to my garage, pulled it off the trailer and in the garage. As soon as it got it in the garage CEL came on. P2565. Also looks like I got some high crankcase pressure. Not sure if that provides any additional insight. Would a ktuner datalog be helpful at all?

Logged. The data isn't displayed in TunerView or when a data log is recorded. Should have specified that. Was just bad wording on my part. Just tested my "little ball" 😂. No movement whatsoever.

Ext data such as steering angle, brake pressure, etc isn't being logged on my KTuner anymore. It was working fine previously. But just noticed the KTuner is no longer recording that data in the logs. I doubled checked that I have type 1 selected on the unit. The "G meter" on the car itself is...

Can I use my Ktuner v2 to scan/read diagnostic codes on a different car? My girlfriends car (CRV) had a cel pop up, but wasn't sure if it was even possible since obviously it is locked to my ecu.

On the Ktuner site, the 2018 si is omitted from anything mentioning the EXT CAN options and I haven't been able to find much about it. Will Type 1 work or is there a way to log the ExtCAN data for a 2018 si?
