Maybe I can get a roof rack at the dealership but figure it will be $$$, has anyone installed a roof rack on their Civic X? I have a 2018 Si and am looking to haul some surfboards when I go to the beach...any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Enjoy, it's a blast to drive, great gas mileage and handles well. You get the benefit too of having a hatch so not seeing them everywhere yet. The exclusive club feeling is nice, I see Sedans everywhere now and have only seen a few coupes, so I still kinda get that feeling lol.

I have to put on 3 shields again, literally stripped the bottom of my car lol. My cars in the past have never had one and ran like champs, never had a issue with them. However this is still a practically, new car and I can put them back on in about a hour so I'm just going to do that for peace...

Yea I definitely took off too many, didn't do my research first but that's what the forums are for. I made it a lot harder than it needed to be, I'll put them back on tomorrow since now I know where everything goes it won't be too hard.

That's what I figured was just worse gas mileage. I heard some people with other cars claimed their alternators were "burning" out faster without one. I'm not to sure about that and as far as my chassis getting more dirt/grime/etc, I'm always cleaning my car and got a ton of shop towels so I...

I'm just curious how bad it is, to leave the shield off from underneath the car, changed my oil yesterday and didn't read the forums so took the long way around and took off most of the shield(s) protecting the underside of my car. Is there any downside to keeping it off? Its aggravating as heck...

I plan on putting more this year though, driving down to Miami soon and probably somewhere up North for the Solar Eclipse in August.

So my best bet as you stated is to wait for a turbo back exhaust which I assume is bolt on too and removes the CAT? Sorry just lost in the dark when it comes to exhaust lol
