I love my FK8 for its driving experience, which the FL5 is very similar except for the stiffer ride. For me the extra 15 to 20k I would spend to get a FL5, it’s not worth it to me. Much of the” improvements “ of the FL5 I don’t care for.

At 60k that’s a expensive accord:D

People that get a FL5 for under 60k out the door, are calling it a good deal. Crazy times we live in.

I’ve had 25+ different cars so far in my life. Every time I get the itch to sell my R, I just take a drive in it and the thought of selling it goes out the window.

I got a Acura dealer right by my house, and I see the demo ITS there every day. At 52k I’m really not interested in checking it out.

For me 40k is top dollar for a FWD manual hot hatch (close to what I paid for my R). I cant justify spending close to 60k on one of these.

To me, people spending close to 60k to get one is insane.

Remember we drive the “boy racer” looking type r. Some of These folks paying 60k for their FL5 don’t want to be associated with us.

The biggest red flag for me is how much time has passed since the FL5‘s release, for Honda to do this. When was the FK8’s laps time released in regards to the car’s release?

S grade, different track length, different tires. To many variables to make any real comparisons.
