Check your owners manual. For the type R it’s 5.3 Qts not including the filter, or 5.7 Qts with the filter. Engine oil can be disposed of at any big auto shop (Autozone, O’Reilly’s, etc.)
Noticed while driving yesterday in hour long stop and go traffic that CVT’s are running hot. Ambient temp was as high as 88 F, and TunerView reached a high of 238 F for CVT temp. Just wondering what others are seeing in terms of temps.
Sadly have the Lane mitigation radar on my car :cry: Any chance I could fit it in the cold air intake location without drilling since I run a short ram?
Sorry to raise a dead thread, but was wondering if the driver fender position required any drilling. Planning to order the ETL CVT cooler as temps here in Cali are getting hot.
Sounds pretty normal. When you go into L, or S if your car has it, the CVT “downshifts”. The jerk is just the sudden increase in engine RPM. However make sure not to give any throttle whenever you move the shifter.
How’s it going y’all. Tore the rubber seal on the front of the hood while trying to remove the bumper over the weekend. Just trying to confirm that what I’m looking at is the right part. Please see attached for what I’m referring to. Thanks in advance!

There’s a guy @ISSAFK7 on IG that has the 27won W1 turbo, on top of FBO, pushing 302/267 HP/TQ on a CVT. As far as longevity and reliability of a CVT Civic, it’s low end torque that really hurts our transmissions. Think it really depends on how much you drive/abuse your car, but YMMV :dunno:

Yeah I have the Race (90A) version. I’ve read the posts about increased NVH and was expecting a good amount. But this is to the point where even change in that tiny shelf in the center console will rattle uncontrollably.
What is everyone’s thoughts on 27WON’s RMM? Just installed mine after buying off someone on the forums, and NVH is crazy. Just giving slight throttle below 3k RPMS makes my car shake so much I can’t even see cars clearly out of my side and rear view mirror.
