  1. Used Si prices....

Yep, the dealer showed me the order sheets from Honda, it was one of the last coupes sent over. They announced the death about a week after I got it.
  2. Used Si prices....

    SD CA
  3. Used Si prices....

White 2020 coupe, 14k miles and ive been offered 29 for it
  4. Manual vs CVT just a humble opinion...

I have a 20 Si coupe and a 19 hatch. The cvt is cool for everyday driving, comfortable and gets the job done. However, idc what you have to say, it is not sporty at all. When you floor it it just holds rpm and sounds like a vacuum, if you have an exhaust it sounds like a fart from behind. It...
  5. 2019 2.0l non turbo extra hp

You probably should've gotten an Si if you wanted power, plus a cvt is garbage for any performance application. This isn't me trying to be a dick, its just how it is. The NA 2.0 that the lower trims have is designed for those who don't care about the power, and for those who are scared of the...
  6. TSP Stage 1 Dyno

Hey guys, has anyone gone to the dyno with the TSP Stage 1 tune? I want to see if their numbers are real and not fluffed. Tune with no mods. Thanks
  7. Questions About California Laws

I did it with my straight piped v8 S4. Had a NC plate and license. I got pulled so many times in that thing just for them to give me a warning since thats all they can do. They can't force you to register it in CA, even if you have a CA license. You can keep your out of state one too, again...
  8. Questions About California Laws

Honestly depends on how you drive. I live in SD as well, 5% rear and 15% sides, no front plate. Haven't been pulled since I got my car 7 months ago. As far as mods, I know people will fully built cars that they daily. You'll be fine until it comes time for your emissions test, but its a few...
  9. Realistically, what is the next car you are aiming to get in the next couple years?

When the CTR first came out, one of the Honda engineers took a k20C1 from the F1 team, and built a FC3 Si chassis from the ground up as full race car. Its cool af, but I want a street car lol. I was thinking about reaching out to like PRL or someone to help me do the swap. I think I'm going to...
  10. Realistically, what is the next car you are aiming to get in the next couple years?

Going into real estate so I plan on buying out my gf's hatch as the work car. I want a hellcat for myself as the play car, and then turn the Si into the project. I have this goal of buying a CTR and swapping everything over into the Si. Sure it'll cost a lot, but I think the type r sits better...
  11. What's your final grade of this 10th Gen Si?

The doors are one of the only things I hate about the coupe lol
  12. What's your final grade of this 10th Gen Si?

Driving Characteristics: B Comfort/Seats: B- Fit/Finish: B Tunability: A+ Reliability: A- Dealer Satisfaction: F- Overall Value: A As a previous Audi only buyer, this generation really changed my mind about Honda. I had a regular non si 1.5 manual and it was great at being a eco car while...
  13. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

No, it was fully stock lol. But its classified as a wear item. Hard to prove that it wasn't you that fucked the clutch vs the clutch sucking. You can google this, Im telling you as a previous Honda employee, the stock clutch sucks balls. When I was working there we had at least 4-5 Si's per week...
  14. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

I mean, this is my 3rd manual car. But after seeing others at the dealer with the same issue stock, and seeing plenty more of people reporting it on forums, I was expecting to replace a clutch when I got my si. Its a known weak link in the car.
  15. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

Its hit or miss, same with the battery's. I used to say the same shit cause my last civic (ext manual) was fbo tuned and still had stock clutch with no issues.
  16. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

Mine started slipping at 6k miles before I tuned it, all freeway driving.
  17. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

Yes, they're known to go out under stock power. The Si uses the same clutch from the regular non si 1.5t manuals. When I was working at Honda we had plenty of Si's come in under 15k miles needing a new clutch
  18. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

Wait, you tuned a lease? Why would you do that lmfao. And yes, get a new clutch. The clutches go out under stock power. If you're gonna stay on the stock clutch, roll into the throttle, don't just punch it. You won't slip nearly as much if at all, unless you clutch is burnt out lol
  19. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

Oh, from my understanding I thought they were having trouble changing maps
  20. Dislike the TSP Stage 1.5 tune?

No, with TSP on ktuner you have different maps. Turn off cruise control systems completely. Hold the CANCEL button on the right side for maybe 3 seconds. the tach will move to either 1k rpm, 2k, or 3k. That is your MAP. 1 is stock power. 2 is 18psi (I think) and custom for sport mode. 3k is 18...
