Finally got around to installing my Mugen Steering wheel! I watched a lot of install vids but the UK wheel felt like it has extra clips compared to US. Disassembly was a right pain. But reassembly was easier
The carpark was filthy. So it makes it look black. But it didn't seem to be oily.
I'll not turn on A/C for a few days and test again. Just has me a little worried.
This shows the leak in a short vid
Just looking for advice. Noticed a leak under my car when I came back from a quick shop. Then drove it back and checked was still dripping. Collected some of the liquid and was clear. So thought it could be from condensation From the a/c. But I do run it every now and then
Does anyone else...
I went to them a week back and said put all the new parts that have come and use my old parking sensors as they worked post accident. I'll hopefully be able to take the car later this week. I said when the sensor loom comes I'll just drop the car back to them for the time it takes to fit the...
Worldwide issue. A driver hit the front of mine and damaged the bumper where the radar sits about 4 months ago. They ordered all the parts but the front parking sensors and splitter were on backorder. So they still have the car because of 1 or 2 parts. Seems like there's no date for the...
You lot have it bad there with the car market. In the UK for the FK8 I used carwow. Selected the car and colour online (£35k), then dealers post prices for your custom. I got the top 5 best deals in my inbox. A dealer 100miles away offered it 2k under rrp as they can see your distance. The...
Is anyone willing to help me get a pair Shipped to the UK for me. From USR the black smoked with white LED is ~$58 (with discount code) but the shipping is $60. I want to see if I can get it at a lower cost on the shipping
Ok. i just assumed the sensors would fit but maybe that's risky way to go about it. Hopefully someone could give more of a definitive answer in that case.
I'm of the understanding the front right facia houses the Radar and the left side the horn. The front parking sensors I think are in the same location on the facelift as the pre facelift. So I don't think you will lose functionality unless someone else knows better. Should be a straight swap over
I had to replace my UK spec front grill from a light knock. We have a crash bar sitting behind the plastic grill with pedestrian bonnet crash sensors on it. Unfortunately the dash light came on for those sensors, but the sensors didn't go off thankfully as the car was off. They are £600 quid...
I'm based in UK. They were close to £600. Quite steep for seat covers. But wanted to protect them and stop fade.
They are made by a company called Seatskinz but their website is: https://individualautodesign.co.uk/
I basically communicated with email sending a picture of the seats photoshopped...
Continued with my seat covers today:
Rears:
Started fitting my seat covers on the front. This was one almost complete
Then started the other one:
Just need to do secure them in the harness holes. Such a tight squeeze. Ran out of finger strength as my pry tool is short and I can't get the...
I fitted the rear ones today. Ran out of time for the fronts. Removed the rear bench to fit that particular cover. The backrest ones should hook around under the seat to be taught. But as they have fabric running off the seat under the floor Board so I couldn't do that unless I undid that. But...
You can get full fabric,1/2 faux leather 1/2 fabric, full faux leather or alcantara.
I went for 1/2 1/2 as the alcantara ones were too expensive for me approx £700-800. I had full control of the colours and specs as they are not generics. Not sure about their shipping past Europe guess you can...
I haven't had time to do it yet but they should look and fit flush as they are modelled on the seat themselves. Will post back up when fitted. Maybe Sunday if the weather is good.
