The sport and lx share the exact same transmission right? If there is a small difference, that could explain why @360glitch doesn't have an issue, but @parshisa and I do. Might call/walk in to the shop at my dealership and ask if they've had any other complaints.
When I got the car, my 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd gear engagements were never smooth, no matter how slow or careful I was about it. I drove a 2015 civic stick right before this 2017 hatchback, so I'm pretty used to stick. I figured the clutch just needed to be worn in a little. 6k miles later...
A few days later, put in OPT-7 Fluxbeam X LED headlights. It's a MUST if you have an LX, those headlights aren't bright at all. Install: 10 min and some zip ties, idiot-proof.
Did it come with amber bulbs? I remember seeing somewhere that side markers have to be amber or orange, at least in NJ.
Or are the bulbs in there already amber?
No issue with visibility, back or side. Every car has blind spots but as long as you look/turn your head, you can see everything in the civic HB. The lower rear spoiler obstructs my vision a little but I can still see everything I need to see, and I can see under it as well. I absolutely...
I thought about that but I also really like the integrated look of the OEM. With that installed, nothing would seem out of place. Maybe if I can find one with the right look and function.
I have a 2017 Hatchback LX and I was wondering if I can swap my head unit with the one from an EX, not navi since I don't have all the GPS pieces needed for that. I know the actual unit would fit, but could I do the potential software updates needed to integrate all the features? Thanks.
Does anyone know the best tire rotation pattern?
I assume the pattern would be the same for my 15 civic as it is for a 16. If you happen to know that it is not, please let me know. Thank you.
Mine is a 2015 coupe but hopefully my experience will help regardless.
After a full year with my car, I've found no issues with blindspots. The side camera covers the entire right side perfectly. As for the left, I set the mirror to see wide and look over my shoulder just to be sure. I've...
I understand the sweat concern with the cloth seats, but that is the only thing I would worry about. I've taken pretty great care of my car with cloth seats and it is still in pristine condition after a full year. I run as well and I haven't noticed any issues with sweat. I strongly suggest...
First car:
2015 civic coupe EX 5sp. Absolutely in love with it. Great first car for anyone who wants to drive stick, it's super easy on this car. The coupe is meant to target a younger crowd, but it's perfect for anyone.
They could go so much lower on that 15. I got that price in June of last year when the car was still brand new. Personally, I think the new interior is a downgrade but the exterior is a lot nicer. They're both good choices, can't go wrong with a civic.
