  1. What did you pay?

Out the door? I paid 22,800 OTD for one without sensing so 23,500 is a good price if that is your final price inclusive of everything (TTL).
  2. 2016 Civic Interior Seat Covers sold by Honda/good seat covers?

Anyone know what these look like and if they are good quality? Or where I could buy good seat covers? I have a civic EX-T trim if that matters
  3. What did you pay?

Definitely difficult to get that price. I'm trying to get dealers to match the Orange County TrueCar Estimate ($19,800). I live in Torrance (Los Angeles County) so the sales tax is 9.00% and dealers have told me that with license/fees/tax and everything else I can get a strong estimate of my OTD...
  4. What did you pay?

Damn the salt here is real, if you don't believe her just move on. The TrueCar estimate for a Civic Sedan EX-T in Orange County is $19,769. With this price you can expect to pay an OTD price of $21,350 (assuming 8% sales tax which is the rate for residents in OC). From there negotiating it down...
  5. White Orchid Pearl: Ivory vs. Black interior

The Cosmic Blue comes with gray interior :)
  6. What did you pay?

Man things got heated real quick. Glad I was stuck in calculus class all morning so I didn't have to watch this unfold .
  7. White Orchid Pearl: Ivory vs. Black interior

Why is there a picture of your civic in your civic? Civic-ception.
  8. White Orchid Pearl: Ivory vs. Black interior

Which do you think looks better and why?
  9. What did you pay?

Congrats on the car! I also hate that California has a [EDIT: 7.5% + County] sales tax rate. For me it's 9%. It's pretty much paying an extra 1/10th of the cars total value. I'm going to look at Cosmic Blue and Pearl White colors tomorrow, hopefully I can decide between the two!
  10. What did you pay?

I'm inclined to go with Norm Reeves just because they gave a good initial offer. I think through Costco the price at my local dealer was around $21,000 - 21,500 essentially leading up to $24,000 OT - so Norm Reeves is definetly cheaper than that. I'm going to make an appointment for tomorrow...
  11. How much did you pay?

Should I tell them that in person or over the email? I feel like I suck at negotiating over email and I would be much better in person.
  12. How much did you pay?

Thank you, I got a OTD price of ~$22,500 (20,470 before taxes and fees). I might take it since it's the best deal I've gotten so far.
  13. What did you pay?

Thanks for the info, hopefully he beats the price. If he beats the price I'll take it, if he matches it I'll just go to dealer A since they gave me the better price initially.
  14. What did you pay?

If I have a deal from dealership A and dealership B emails me saying "If you found a better deal elsewhere, I hope you will give me the chance to match the price or beat it", when I respond should I forward the message of the quote from dealer A, or just tell him what it was?
  15. What did you pay?

Do you think if I show up to the dealership I can negotiate their price down by $500? Or should I just want for another offer from different dealerships until I get something decent enough?
  16. What did you pay?

She said Norm Reeves Honda (Irvine) earlier. I got a quote of $20,475 (excluding taxes and fees) from them for the EX-T without sensing - they said it would be around $22,500 OTD for me. I might take it since that's the best offer I've seen so far.
  17. How much did you pay?

Thank you so much for all the information, this is the first time I'm buying a car so this helps a lot!
  18. What did you pay?

I'll update you guys when I do :). Through another thread I found out that Norm Reeves Honda has really good and competitive prices. You might want to see if their offers intrigue you. They also have really good reviews (4.7/5 on Google) so that's a major plus.
  19. How much did you pay?

I emailed them and got a response from Brad Mugg. Hopefully he gives me a good deal. Did they give you the OTD price over the Internet or did you have to go there in person? In my experience you usually have to show up at the dealer to get an OTD price. Thanks again for the response :).
  20. How much did you pay?

Thank you so much for the info! I was about to go to Scott Robinson Torrance Honda and pay just below $24,000 OTD for the EX-T. There is a Norm Reeves in Cerritos and Irvine, I'll check out both of em :)
