  1. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Thanks for posting this again. Her phone was set to that, but at some point the unit was set to have its wifi tethering off. I turned that and Bluetooth tethering back on. Makes sense that part is the wifi antenna, now that you show it, I remember it. I'll have to open up the unit and place it...
  2. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

I haven't come back to this thread in months. Set the m400 up on my daughter's car and stopped checking here after getting so much help. Outta sight, outta mind. Appreciate having such a helpful community here. Turns out she's been having an issue where her wireless carplay often loses...
  3. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

The noise it shows at night is just awful. I imagine the higher level trim's camera also uses an RCA jack.
  4. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Yeah it looks much better than the back up cam. And it was so cheap, ~$20 with a 32gig sd card. US $16.04 50%OFF | HD Dash Cam Dvr Dash Camera Car DVR Car video surveillance ADAS Dashcam android dvr Car recorder Night Version Auto Recorder https://a.aliexpress.com/_mqtZzEd
  5. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

I've attached shots of the apk on the USB, and the version I'm using. (Had to update to the latest to get all the ADAS functionality). Hope this helps.
  6. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

I'd have to look it up. The cam came with a 32GB micro SD card with the apk already on it. I'll look later this afternoon.
  7. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Just gotta say how impressed I keep being with this unit. I just updated the software that came with the $20 dash cam i plugged into the unit. It's got ADAS functionality which can give warnings on lane departure or driving too close to other cars. Pretty cool. Here are a couple of screenshots.
  8. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

FYI, Navifly got back to me and said the units can't be changed from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
  9. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Thanks again for the detailed instructions. Worked out great! Now, does anyone know where to change the A/C popup to show Fahrenheit instead of Celsius? Also, in Carplay, is there a way to map the steering wheel buttons to activate Siri, or to hang up a call? Thanks to all in this thread...
  10. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I'll try it later today and post results. Really appreciate the help!
  11. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Thanks for that. I may try it. I messaged navifly a couple of nights ago but haven't heard back.
  12. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

I have a 2017 LX. The pin side worked fine into the navifly, but the adapter (by my ring finger) is more square than the more rectangular plug that comes from the car (between my first 2 fingers).
  13. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Or if anyone else has knowledge on how to get around this antenna problem, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!
  14. 9" Aftermarket Android Head Unit (Feature Overview / Installation)

Do you mind sharing the steps? I seem to have been shipped the wrong adapter too.
