  1. Type R subwoofer install

This is actually completely removable. I wanted a look that was custom, but that was also removable. It took some thought, because of the asymmetrical nature of the trunk to make it look balanced and like it was supposed to be there. I was going to do a side enclosure, but wanted two...
  2. Type R subwoofer install

Thanks for the comment. They are 10” drivers.
  3. Type R subwoofer install

Thought I’d add this to the board. Finished this project up this past weekend. Sounds freaking awesome...very clean and tight. Am using the factory fronts, and quite honestly at this point have zero desire to change them. Running this off the sub output with a Pioneer mono-block amp. I wanted...
  4. 4 Gauge Amp power wire route

Just an FYI to anyone that reads this. Unfortunately this hole doesn’t exist on a 2020 Type R. I can feel the indentation/perforation for it on the interior side, but the hole isn’t present. Thanks for the tip though...much appreciated.

  7. 4 Gauge Amp power wire route

Anyone know where to run this thick of a wire? Assuming it won’t fit through the hood latch grommet, is the next place the boot behind the battery? I’m trying not to alter anything. Just looking for the easiest spot. Thanks everyone.
  8. 2022 Golf R

Had a 2016 Focus RS and just unloaded it a couple months ago and bought a gray type R to replace it. It was in dang near perfect condition body and interior wise. I do prefer AWD to the Civics FWD...but so goes it. I enjoyed the Focus and had zero issues with it from this standpoint. Problem...
