  1. Ktuner

That's why I used the quotes.
  2. Ktuner

Your Ktuner will come with the basemaps 'preinstalled'. As for the TSP tune, you'll need to hook up your Ktuner to your ECU in order to learn stuff like the Ktuner unit number, ECU SW number and ECU HW number. You can share this info along with your order number with TSP and they'll send you...
  3. Car feels slower after fmic

Yes they r completely different. The ones in your pic are the factory charge pipe adapters and they do indeed come with O rings pre installed, even though the PRL instructions ask you to reuse the factory O rings.
  4. Why did you tune (or not tune) your car?

I always wanted to tune my 1.5T but it was my wife's daily driver so I was wary about potentially messing it up. Last June I got another car, and that freed up my Civic for 'adventures'. Even now it's a CVT, with added sound insulation and with PRL Stage1 being the only current bolt-on. Quiet...
  5. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Really interested in post install review of these.
  6. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Once you get the hang of tuning it's hard to stop. So future proofing is actually smart I reckon. I'm in a similar situation because the next step for me is intake but since I don't like loud intakes, a big reason for me getting a new intake is future proofing. And that's really achieved with a...
  7. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I'm pretty much stock (other than PRL Stage 1 and custom catless downpipe) ATM and running TSP Stage1 tune on my 1.5T CVT. I've ordered a PRL intercooler because where I live the weather is mostly warm pretty much the whole year. Though I don't need upgraded charge pipes, I've still ordered the...
  8. 27won street or race

Wow. I was planning on getting the 27WON CAI with race MAF, and later add TIP and W1 or W2. Thought that after CAI with race MAF I would simply have to convert my TSP Stage1 tune to 27WON race MAF tune and all would be good. No I'm rethinking.
  9. 27won CAI review (FK7 Manual International model)

Yeah I agree it's the Turbo which is the bottleneck. I plan to get the race MAF when I buy this CAI, and then later I will add a 27WON TIP and then maybe a turbocharger upgrade too. I think you will get a bit more power with the race MAF but then the tune will also have to be updated.
  10. 27won CAI review (FK7 Manual International model)

Thanks for putting this up. I'm contemplating buying this and the fact that it seems to be on the quiet side is a big PLUS for me. I'm guessing you have the street MAF? Also is your car tuned?
  11. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

They do. Must've been a specific reason why the plate wasn't on this particular car when the incident happened.
  12. Why use different maps?

I would also like to know regarding the 'drop-in usability' of Turbo upgrade. Car is 2016 CVT on TSP Stage 1. Reason? My work schedule is crazy and just don't have time for a custom tune. Can upgraded turbo just be installed and used, and then custom tuned layer whenever schedule permits?
  13. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Yeah I understand that replacing TIP is a real pain - but I wanted to go down a similar route i.e. CAI+TIP first because I can just drop them in, get converted TSP tune for the race MAF and later follow up with Turbocharger because that will require remote custom tune, which my work schedule...
  14. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Thanks for the info. Reason I mentioned W2 was that one if my friends had a chipped fin on his pretty new W1, so I'm a bit jittery. Not looking for crazy power though. Did you install all these 27WON stuff in one go or piecemeal? Just curious to know how much of a difference the CAI and TIP...
  15. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Very nice indeed. I wanna go down that route but worried about the CVT: 27WON CAI > 27WON TIP > W2 Turbo
  16. When did you change tires/wheels?

I reckon IC is a must, unless you're holding back only because it's winter and looking to splash money elsewhere in the meantime. It may not 'add' performance as such but will help reduce IAT (hence help with loss of performance).
  17. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Car: 2016 Civic 1.5T non-Si CVT Tuned time: 5 months Tuned miles: 1.5k Device: KTuner V1.2 Tunes used: Starter 18psi, Starter 21psi, TSP Stage 1 Mods: PRL Stage 1 intake Problems: none Driving style: relaxed, with occasional WOT runs Notes: I installed KTuner when car already had 23k ODO...
  18. Why use different maps?

Similar concerns here. When I was on KTuner basemaps, I had everything defaulted to factory in the quick adjustments, and figured that my driving style would 'protect' the longevity of the motor and my CVT tranny. Now I'm on TSP Stage1, and I have an international ECU for which TSP does not...
  19. PRL Cobra Intake Question

TSP offers a file conversion option at a significantly lesser price for precisely this sort of scenario. I guess Phearable does not provide a similar option.
