  1. So confused what I should drop $2k on.

Are you sure you’re not thinking of the eibach sport line? Based on your feedback I’m questioning if you have them mixed up, as the pro kit is less than an inch drop and won’t be more aggressive than the tein set you’ve listed. The sport line, however, would be much lower...
  2. So confused what I should drop $2k on.

IMHO lowered on stock wheels > aftermarket wheels on stock suspension. suggestion: go for the springs if it’s something you want to do. Eibach pro kit is subtle with good ride quality. Keep in mind you’ll need to drive around for a couple weeks before doing the alignment, in case that eases...
  3. *CLUTCH WARNING - 10th GEN CIVIC SI's/MT's*

On a stock car, sure. But with a tune the stock clutch is deficient. If it’s slipping, it’s deficient for that application. The Si is a fine car from the factory as well, but since it wasn’t clear I’ll highlight that my response was given with the car being tuned/upgraded in mind
  4. *CLUTCH WARNING - 10th GEN CIVIC SI's/MT's*

My 2 cents… while the stock clutch may be drivable, once it is upgraded to something like the rv6 stage 0 combo it’s clear that the stock unit is deficient. The car is much more responsive and enjoyable to drive with a capable clutch in place. I’m just on a stage 1.5 tune (in map 2 100% of the...
  5. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

just passed 25k miles and still having a blast with the car. No issues of note, very pleased with phearable 1.5 + the rv6 stage 0 combo. also, for anyone in Nevada I just passed smog even with the phearable tune. I’ve read that Clark county checks for non-factory ecu tunes but I rolled the...
  6. Heads and Studs question - blown gaskets with ARP studs?

Curious if anyone has personally, or read about others, blown a head with having the ARP studs installed? Or is it typically a stock studs type of failure? if so, what type of boost were you running?
  7. Car won’t start!!! 2020 SI all lights on dash!!

How much gas did you get when you stopped? Maybe ask for a fuel sample in case you got bad gas when you stopped. Had a similar experience that the dealer attributed to bad fuel, and provided a sample showing an oily substance.
  8. Eibach spring install

This was a couple years ago, but for $550 a shop here in NV installed springs, hks exhaust, and did an alignment (a week or so after install). Hopefully you can find a more reasonable price. Good luck!
  9. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Nearly at 17K miles now, Phearable 1.5 for over 10k of those miles and all is well so far. Clutch started slipping slightly when it was hot out on a road trip so I took the plunge on the rv6 flywheel and stage 0 fk8 clutch and it was such a welcome improvement. Feels like I can get the most...
  10. RV6 Flywheel

Got the flywheel and stage 0 installed, along with a PRL stainless clutch line, and ac delco synchromesh FM MTF. I’m still running the stock cmc and so far no issues. Everything is super smooth and feels really good. Mine isn’t springy but it definitely engages well and bites when the stock...
  11. RV6 Flywheel

Anyone running this with the stock CMC or is an upgrade a must?
  12. 2020 Si Coupe question and general feedback needed. Newbie

Pros: Coupe gang. Love mine, no regerts.
  13. What's your SI looking like today?

Some new shoes, I’m digging on them. Motegi mr118 18x8 with continental exteme contact dws06 plus xl 235/40. A little more tire/sidewall than I had anticipated but they feel great.
  14. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I have heard and read the same. Passed up on the ps4s for these so hopefully they hold up to expectations. Should have them on Friday. Got a road trip to Zona this month and another to Colorado in December so I needed a legitimate all season tire. ?
  15. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Definitely two ways to go about and no wrong answer. I reckon if I had 93 around I’d run map 2 and even 3 a lot more often but staying in 1 keeps me out of trouble ?. Have some new all seasons on the way (continental extreme contact dws 06) and the extra grip may get me to roll around in map 2...
  16. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Coming up on 10k miles total and about 8k tuned and the car is running great. Knock control is just about always around .49-.52 on 91 unless I get on it but it generally stays mid .5x to low .6x even then. I’m still mostly running map 1 as it’s plenty for daily driving. I’ll run map 2/3 on...
  17. Steering wheel emblem paint job ?

I’m not sure how well it would stick to that material or how easily you’d be able to remove it, but perhaps some liquid mask may work out. Then you’d go back and carefully trace out the H with a hobby knife and just remove the mask where you want to paint. Definitely try a small amount...
  18. (Delete if not aloud.) Driving music

Washed Out. Passion Pit. Lcd soundsystem. Ark patrol. Tokimonsta.
  19. Why I'm considering leaving the forum

For your own sake I think you need to understand that not everyone will share that sentiment, and that’s okay. People that are new to the forum may be turned off by being pressured into posting in that thread, especially repeatedly. Some people don’t want to publicly post that they’re tuned...
  20. Why I'm considering leaving the forum

Don’t take it personally, because it’s not personal. ? At the end of the day, it’s just a thread, and this is just a forum. Don’t let it get you down IRL.
