What you are seeing are the wires for the mid and tweeter speakers. The blue is the speaker positive and the white is the speaker negative. Unfortunately both speaker have blue positive wires. You'll have to determine which one is which. The wire harness for the speakers run to a connection...

I am using Avery Dennison SW900 Satin Yellow. I looked far and wide ,bought samples and found the Avery product was closest to the Phoenix yellow.

I just measured the exposed threads of the stud with the wheel mounted and there is only 16mm of thread. Adding a few mm of spacer is ok, but any more than that, you are risking not getting enough thread engagement to ensure the integrity of the wheel to hub connection. Very risky
