I got mine in Sonic Grey Pearl but I preferred Boost Blue. In my part of Texas, the Type R was hard to find and so I pick up the first one I could get a hold of. But I immediately wrapped it in yellow.
Good on PRL for saying something here. We are all human and mistakes are made. I bet Patrick who has been holding a grudge for this long, has made a mistake and someone else was affect by HIS mistake. We all have done it and that is where forgiveness comes into play. I bet Patrick is a...
What seems strange to me is why did Honda put a DSP in the head unit and send the mid and tweeter frequencies over one wire? If I install a DSP, I'd send separate signals to each speaker to take advantage of the DSP functionality and optimize the sound from each speaker so you dont get...
No. This is my second civic to wrap and I can say for sure 100 square feet is not enough. There is no 10' wide rolls of vinyl. They come in 5' wide rolls. Additionally, a 10' x 10' is only 100 square feet. You need 300 square feet, which is 60 ft of a 5 ft wide roll. 60ft will wrap the...
According to the electrical wiring diagrams, the audio signals all come from the head unit. There is no amplifier. If you look at the attached dwgs I posted, all the speakers receive the same signals, for instance the rear mid and tweeter both get the same signal without any frequency...
The car actually takes about 20 yrds of material. The rolls are 5" wide and 75' long (25 yrds). 100 sqr feet is definately not enough. You actually need 300 sqr feet. Remember alot of material is wasted because of the shapes and how you cut the roll. For instance the bumpers need 10 ft of...
I have experience with Oracal, VVivid, 3M, and Avery. The best to work with is Avery, It is very flexible and not as tacky as 3M. I'm wrapping my car now in Avery SW900 Satin Yellow. I wrapped a Civic in 3M and Oracal. The 3M material is not as flexible as Avery and is a bit more tacky. So...
From what I can see from the Honda service manual, there is a tweeter and mid speaker each with a blue and white wire for each speaker. Although what I see is that there is a connector for each, so I'm abit confused. Attached is the wiring from the service manual. What is clear is that at the...
I am currently wrapping mine now. I found it is better to purchase a full roll of 25 yds. This is my second civic to wrap and I found that with a few mistakes you'll make the 25 yds will do. Plus the extra for the full roll is not that much more that a cut roll of 20 yds.
Funny you're...
It is hard to see what exactly is damaged, I would suggest you go to a parts site like this:
https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-list/2019-honda-civic--5dr_sport_touring-kl_cvt/interior_bumper/mirror.html?pnc=12
Hopefully that is your vehicle. Double check your damage to the parts drawings...
What you are seeing are the wires for the mid and tweeter speakers. The blue is the speaker positive and the white is the speaker negative. Unfortunately both speaker have blue positive wires. You'll have to determine which one is which. The wire harness for the speakers run to a connection...
I just measured the exposed threads of the stud with the wheel mounted and there is only 16mm of thread. Adding a few mm of spacer is ok, but any more than that, you are risking not getting enough thread engagement to ensure the integrity of the wheel to hub connection. Very risky
That stinks, I'm sorry to hear that happened. You have to take the entire bumper off to replace the grill. There are some good videos on how to do that. Here is a good one.
I just took mine off to vinyl wrap it and it is not big deal. You do need to get the car up on jacks or a lift...
Attached is is the dimensional inspection for the front brake. I am a mechanical engineer that specializes in turbomachinery and have dimensionally inspected hundreds of machines. Not all the dimensions in the spreadsheet are precise to the .001" Some of the dimensions are impossible to...
