  1. Skid Plate?

I had planned to do it over my Christmas Break but haven't had a chance due to the cold and no access to a hoist at the moment. Likely won't get to it until spring.
  2. Snow Tires/Rims Installed

Finally got around to getting the new shoes on! 16" DAI Direct Fit Wheels in Graphite wrapped in Hankook's iPike RS W419
  3. Skid Plate?

I'm going to be making a DIY skid plate with ease of access for DIY OIL change. Since I work in steel fab. I can assure you the cost to make most of these skid plates is less than 50$ USD its all in the "design and engineering' I will post back in a month or so with my version!
  4. Snow Tires/Rims Installed

Thanks for the information. That is a tad bit out of my price range at the moment, I can try searching Kijiji locally and see if anyone has some for resale! Lastly I could venture out to the wreckers and see what I can pull off - I've had great luck in the past!
  5. Snow Tires/Rims Installed

That roof rack looks sweet! What kind is it and where did you grab it?
  6. Snow Tires/Rims Installed

Well each to their own I guess. I have a heated double car garage at home so its literally minutes of work for me! Insurance mandates from December 1st is the specific date in their policy wording so I will do it the 3rd week of November!
  7. Snow Tires/Rims Installed

I believe stock 18's on a 10th gen civic are 235 40 18 if you have those stock or upgradedas an option. If you downsize to a 16" tire you would use the OEM equivalent size of 215 55 16 and you would have minimal speedo difference, so little that you wouldn't be able to tell. The 18" size has a...
  8. Snow Tires/Rims Installed

I am also in Canada and in Ontario and experiencing the same weather. Hold off until the 3rd week of November if your seeing around 10 or higher degrees Celsius in youe area for day time high. When we start seeing consistency with around 6 or 7 degrees below Celsius make the switch. Hopefully...
  9. Anyone else having amazing luck with their Civic?

Same goes here I have no idea what I would without the 6MT. I test drove and signed a deal for a 2020 Toruing, on day of pick up they asked for $4,500 more as they messed up the paperwork and my trade in value. In a way I am glad it didn't work out as a CVT even with the touring features isn't...
  10. Anyone else having amazing luck with their Civic?

Nope Sir. I have a 6-MT I don't think I could do a CVT in a Civic. I'm in Canada and temp's have been OK the past week, but when we are below 5 degrees Celsius I let her warm up for about 2 minutes, longer once we are in full blown winter mode, which I haven't experienced yet with this car...
  11. Anyone else having amazing luck with their Civic?

I just bought a 2019 LX Hatch that has 21,000 KM which is approximately 13,050 miles. Hoping to keep it stock for 6 more months though before considering a tune/downpipe. I'm not quite getting the fuel economy I hoped for. I am hoping to drive the car for 3 years and keep it under 60,000 miles...
  12. Do Aftermarket Wheels Effect Resale / Trade In Value?

You hit the nail on the coffin. I've learned the same any car I recently drove that had the slightest modified wheels or other aspects did NOT drive as nice. Ended up with a bone stock vehicle but its never been abused. Even though aftermarkt wheels look nice its a personal touch and that...
  13. OEM HomeLink Install

I have a Ryobi Garage Door Opener and it has the app, however the ease of using a homelink button vs pulling out the phone and loading the app is a PITA. Many of the newer openers including Chamberlain versions have some sort of app as well. I'm going to be going to local wreckers to find this...
  14. Motegi MR924 wheel hunt

I just purchased a set of aftermarket rims alloys from green life with a set of Hankook winter rubber nobody could match their final price as an FYI . Completely legit. It would of been worth my drive up from Kitchener even if I wasn't already passing through the area yesterday.
  15. Honda civic hatchback custom shallow sub box....

No worries I understand. I can figure it out as well with some trial and error and templates etc. Just thought I'd ask.
  16. Parting out some stuff from my Civic Si Sedan

Thank you for the input. Its greatly appreciated. First thing on my list is audio swapping but I don't mind buying his intake for install before next spring.
  17. Parting out some stuff from my Civic Si Sedan

Pardon my ignorance but will your intake fit my 2019 LX Hatchback 6MT? I'm new to Civic’s again and unsure of the cross compatability. Please PM me or reply here I am struggling to find the PM button on here LOL.
  18. Honda civic hatchback custom shallow sub box....

Do you have rough sketches? I just bought a 2019 LX Hatchback and I will need to get a sub installed ASAP. I am not great with wood working but have a laser cnc cutter at work and can work with drawings.
  19. New Here? Introduce Yourself!

Hello All, I am definitely new to this board. I will be the proud owner of a 2020 Touring Sedan CVT in about 48 hours from now. So no pictures to post in this thread. I did try the SI but for the sake of the GF I had to go automatic! Local Dealer made a huge mistake in selling price so I ended...
