This is so true. I initially bought a 5 series - no idea why. I HATED that big old boring car with a passion. Sold it as soon as I could and hopped in a CTR. Been more than happy ever since.

AWESOME. I’m loving my CTR in the same way. Every day when I walk to it I get excited. Seems like most people like the car and most importantly my wife grew to really love it.

My CTR is the first car I’ve owned where I know I’ll never sell it. I will drive it until it’s no longer economical to repair. I simply think it’s one of the greatest cars ever made. Simple, NOT connected to the internet, manual, light and powerful..... and most importantly it’s FUN to drive.

Where I live a neighbour 2 doors down has one. I have mine and still kind of love the massive wing. Anyway, anyone who drives a R gets my approval. Such an awesome car.

Agree. They don’t even look so good. I went to 18’ and have been super happy. Car still handles awesome and i never feel torque steer. I think the 20’ are for the showroom and track only.

The Type R is quite a serious performance car and shifting can be a bit more deliberate. The engine makes up for any lost shift time.

Mine has had 1-2 crunch and some 3-4 lock outs from Brand new. Main dealer leads Honda mechanic test drove my car and then I also drove it to show issues. He said it’s better to shift in a ‘two-step’ manner from 1-2 in order for second gear to be ready. Not sure if that makes sense but the...

Agree with all comments here. The stock tyres are USELESS in cold temperatures. In snow you will have no chance. Get a set of 18’ wheels and good dedicated winter tyres like Nokians. However, renting a car will be the easiest.

Went with 18inch Sparco Pro Corsas and 245/40/18 Nokian Snow/Winter tyres. Couldn’t be happier and overall not an expensive setup. I actually prefer the improved ride quality and feel of the car over those insane 20inch stock wheels.
