If you look to where the lowest shelf is, where the 1.5 amp USB and 12 volt outlet are, then follow that shelf along the driver's side edge towards you, you'll find that it extends into a long pocket along your knee, perfect for most phones.
Burgundy was on the lot, and I loved the car and color so much that I couldn't wait for one to be found in Cosmic Blue (there weren't any around me locally). I actually liked how difficult it was to even notice the color under some conditions, and warmed up to it quite a lot after seeing it in...
Welcome! I did the same thing; after seeing the sedan and coupe in person, I decided that I really loved the look of the sedan. I don't mind actually having rear doors, either; my last two civics only had two doors. It was time.
I can't believe I missed that pocket completely! I was cramming mine into the cable pass-through area behind the shifter, and it just never sat well.
Thanks!
I got hit with this error today for the first time (~1 week into ownership, heavy use of android auto).
I tried the following and had no luck (in this order):
- Unplugged and replugged the cable (obviously)
- Pressed and held "Audio" to restart headunit
- Restarted car (with cable already...
That's wonderful! So is it the current belief that most of the rattling is the result of the pieces you bumpered? Or have you (or the dealership) done other dampening work?
Yeah, I'm not anxious to push my speakers before they've had a chance to get broken in, but I'll do that soon enough and report back.
Update: There's the rattle! It showed up this evening while listening to some songs I'm certain I played yesterday at similar volumes. I guess things just...
Ahhh, so if I got lucky and have just less of a rattler, I could still expect to potentially hear issues once it gets cooler out.
Thanks for all of the detailed info. I hope they get you resolution soon!
Hmm, not hearing anything that sounds off. I've been playing EDM (house, synthwave, retrowave, trance, a little dubstep to stress it) nonstop in the car between 16 and 20 and it's been pretty crisp. Like I said, maybe I got lucky, or perhaps the dealership did something to fix it because they...
Any chance you could take a picture or two of the weathertechs as well? I've been considering taking the plunge while my car is still brand new, but I'm curious how they look and how the fit is.
Are you happy with the mats so far?
Hey all. I've been lurking for a few days, but picked up my Civic from the dealer today, so I figured it was time to start posting.
I work for a software startup in Boston and commute via train, which means that my driving time isn't ruined by commuter stress.
