Anyone installed front and rear tow hooks on their cars? What did you go with?
Would prefer a proper tow strap but can't work out how to do it with off the shelf items.
Attended Rd 6 of the Zestino Supersprint at Sydney Motorsport Park. Biggest change since my last outing was installing the radiator and pads, lines and rotors. Couldn't speak highly enough of these upgrades, it completely solved all the overheating issues I was having.
Session 1 was just...
Thought I would start my own thread to keep a record of my outings. Mod List to date:
Koya SF03 18x9 rims
Nexen Sur4G 255/35
PWR Radiator
Goodridge Braided Brake Lines
pMu Type NS rear pads
Endless MX72 front pads
DBA T2 front rotors (stock rotors had warped at 12,000kms)
Endless RF650 brake...
The Mx72 is supposed to be the street/track mix compound. Haven't tested them on the track yet but they pull up ok cold and no noise so far. Will report back after a track day
Love the new subsection! Here's my 2017 FK8
I did one track day in stock form and it lasted all of three laps before the brakes cooked and it overheated. But it was a blast! One of the first things I did was swap out the 20's for 18's after reading about the sidewall damage from track use...
Hi all, I really want the funcitionality of LogR (mostly temp monitoring) and rather than gauges or the Hondata Hack I was wondering if anyone had done a headunit swap.
Would it be a straight swap? Does the 2017 OBD not capture oil temp/press as I assume the new one does?
Cheers
Hi all,
I am starting to track my FK8 and would like to monitor temps. Currently looking at Defi gauges or an Advance ZD unit to monitor temps mechanically.
I also understand you can hack the head unit to show OBD readings, but doesn't show oil press/temp.
Is there any way to get the head unit...
Also, my tuner recommends using a custom thermostat. Anyone here done this?
Found a Spoon version
