I received the exact same answer and similar ones. You should also remove the screenshot because they don't like it as it is confidential. (Yes, ı experienced it, too) you should try to convince him gently.
There is no way that you can fix it yourself as it is completely software's fault. Ktuner surely knows this problem and how to solve it but they must "want" to solve it. I had tried every possible thing in the software that can be changed but it hadn't worked. Ktuner finally sent me a beta and...
Ktuner basemaps don’t harm your vehicle without bolt-ons but it can easily heatsoak and lose performance in those weather conditions without big intercooler and a cold air intake so it is better to stay at 18-19 psi without bolt-ons performance wise.
Hi, I noticed that 11 th gen civic knock sensitivity table values are exactly two times higher than 10th gen civics. that means they are much more desensitive. Does it mean they are more knock resistant or have a different sensor?
My friend, don't waste your breath. No matter how hard you try, they are determined not to believe you. They think only they know shit. Our years of experience and having already tested what they advice doesn't mean anything to them. They didn't even feel the need to take a look at the datalogs...
I have already mentioned this problem a few times in this forum and send several emails about it to Ktuner. Here are some basic facts.
Problem: There is a random knock control increase at low load part throttle cruising. While going at a steady speed at low rpm and MOSTLY under negative vacuum...
İt seems ok for now. Flactuation ignition timing problem has been fixed and it is like what it is supposed to be. Everything is stable now and I am still trying to discover the flashpro sofware options.more importantly partial knock problem is gone
İt has a an electronic wastegate so there is no mechanical flap. The only way to raise boost more than stock is to get a hondata or ktuner device or a simple Racechip device.
There was no partial knock control raise even though i did maf calibrations. But I think it is because ignition timing is less than ktuner both low loads and high loads at least in my case. Aside from that it was not consistent at low loads and high loads always fluctuating even while cruising...
I have been using Ktuner for two years and I switched to Hondata. I loaded base map +6 psi with some mods and raised the boost to 21 psi and torque limit to 300 nm. Then I felt it was slower than it should be so I took my first datalog. First thing I noticed that there was nearly zero ignition...
Unfortunately ı couldn't find a solution even though i Tried Every possible solution. Arnold told he solved it by killing ignition at part throttle but it hurts drivibility and fuel economy because part throttle is used mostly at everyday driving. Maybe using higher octane gasoline can be a...
İt has been discussed multiple times before. While cruising especially below 0 psi some non-si cvts tends to have random knock control spikes and there is simply nothing you can do about it because ktuner thinks it is normal ecu behavior.
Yes, beta has more options which I liked such as on the fly map switching and throttle sensitivity but i gave up all of them for the sake of stable knock control and stable fuel trims.
The insteresting thing is in my case beta has problems hitting boost targets consistently. For example ı slowly...
