  1. Arizona WTB: 10th Gen Hood

Hey man, sorry for the late reply. I can probably have a friend in Hemet grab it as I have no idea when I would be able to make it out there. If not no biggie, I’m also looking into what I can do locally. I work for insurance and have a lot of connections at body shops around here.
  2. Arizona WTB: 10th Gen Hood

    Phoenix
  3. Arizona WTB: 10th Gen Hood

Where in SoCal? And depending on price it might be worth it.
  4. Arizona WTB: 10th Gen Hood

SGP preferred, looking to get a hood to modify so not looking to spend a lot, just need it to be in decent shape. Other colors are fine too.
  5. Arizona WTB: Stock Hood

Any color, SGP will pay more if it’s SGP, going to cut for hood vents. I’m in AZ so would prefer there, or CA. Stock Civic hood is ok too(I’m pretty sure they fit)
  6. Overheating & What You Can Do To Stop It

This is great, first on my list is the PWR/C&R radiator, my car came with the EVS grille already. Probably won’t get on track until next year but I will be doing mods one at a time to gauge effectiveness.
  7. C&R Radiator Installed

We have only 1 track with longer straights, Arizona Motorsports Park is 2.25 mile, 16 turn course, my ITR I was usually at the 2:00 mark, but car was capable of much faster. Wild Horse Pass we use 2 tracks there, occasionally the Bondurant track which is 1.5 and the Main track which is the same...
  8. C&R Radiator Installed

So I imagine in AZ on a street car with no other mods the track radiator(I will eventually get on track) would be find? Hottest summer on record, over 50 days over 110 this past summer. Winter highs are typically in the 70s...overnight it gets cool though...
  9. Simple Cooling Mods for the Track Without Voiding Warranty?

thank you kind sir! im in Arizona so literally keeping the car cool is all I’m worried about. I was pretty active in the past as a driver and instructor, so I’m not new to tracking. I’m by no means the fastest but very competent. I would love to go back to CA and drive again as it’s been a...
  10. Simple Cooling Mods for the Track Without Voiding Warranty?

I’m curious as I’ve been reading about the cooling issues. Has anyone seen if just going to a better vented hood helps? Getting air through the radiator is obviously key, but what has been results of adding a 2020 or similar grille, while also adding the(what I understand to be) larger...
  11. Civic Type R at the track, goods and bads! Let's share our experience.

This is really interesting read. I’m coming from a DC2R that I tracked frequently, but haven’t been on track for a few years due to divorce/life. Well I am picking up my 2019 FK8 in VA beginning of next month and driving it back home. I plan to track it, and cooling will most certainly be an...
  12. WTB: 2017-2019 FK8

Bump, got some potentials but want to keep options open...
  13. WTB: 2017-2019 FK8

    Bump...still looking
  14. WTB: 2017-2019 FK8

I would but it has run it’s course. I am heavily involved with the ITR club and as the brand has grown, I haven’t been able to use it as much as I would like. I have a 9 year old and would like to have something we can do fun things in that doesn’t have the rarity and exclusivity the ITR does...
  15. WTB: 2017-2019 FK8

Thanks man, I’m bummed but it’s going to a good home
  16. WTB: 2017-2019 FK8

Putting this out as sometimes someone knows someone who may not be on forums. Just sold my pride and joy, 1998 CW ITR, it was an amazing 8 years but it was time. New owner will be picking it up in the next two weeks and I’m starting my hunt for an FK8. My budget is 30k or less. I am not...
